Set object to default to no stroke
Every single time I make a box or something it adds a border stroke by default. This is so annoying as I don't want a border stroke like 90% of the times. Is this a bug or something? I'm so tired of removing that border stroke!! Please Adobe, make this nightmare go away. If you insist on forcing this upon us as default then at least make a "remember this choice" checkbox or something.

Fix it please. It drives me crazy! If I would like to have a shape with border by deafult, I would ask for it, but I don't want as many other people. It should be an optional feature.

Would be good to have control in settings to not auto add borders to newly created elements.

By default border option in checked in every element but is very annoying since I never use that feature
So can you make border unchecked by default in the update

Very annoying to constantly having to remove that default border. A border is an attribute and should not be a default thing at all. In Illustrator it remembers that I have no border as default and I get to choose to add it whenever I want by, yes you guessed, adding a border feature. So please Adobe STOP adding a border to all my vector elements by default!

I vote for this, 99% of the time I don't use borders, and I have to disable the border with every shape I draw!

Yes! Or, like in Illustrator, allowing the use of a hot-key (such as '/') to remove the border/fill option.

I agree that having an option to switch the border default would be nice, or at least make the border default to "none".

Borders are really useless when we working on XD considering its function and what it was designed for. Borders are interesting and useful in a lot of cases, but MOST of the time, we don't need borders. Sounds like Adobe tested our limits on user experience sensibility with XD. It's not a random fact we have so much feature requests here.

At least 100 times a day, I find an element that has been given a default border that I have to remove.
It's easy to miss because the border is quite fine.

this is a minor setting, but it is really annoying. I agree with everything this user is saying. Though I would say 99% of the time i not adding a border to an element

Border definitely should not be on by default.
