Another update for you all – we now support tethered iOS. For Android, you can open cloud documents using the XD mobile application.
An error occurred while saving the comment Jan commentedSo here we are, just been trough the biggest XD update in the history of the project yet still no real-time preview through USB on W10 with any Android phone. What's that all about? We are many!!
An error occurred while saving the comment Jan commentedI've had this option on XD mobile for years but it's never been working. The first year or so it said it was a Mac only feature on this very screen, but I haven't seen that disclaimer in a long time but still, when I have a Xd document open and connect my Android phone to my W10 PC nothing happens. I suggest Adobe just close the project for Windows and Android instead of having a menu option that doesn't work.
XD Ver. 21.0.12.11
XD mobile ver. 21.0.0 (22305)
Checked Play Store and I'm up to date on the mobile app according to them. I have allowed automatic updates for that app on my Samsung S7.
An error occurred while saving the comment Jan commentedDear Adobe, have you ever heard of the concept corporate secrecy? To upload design files, or ANY files at all to a remote cloud service is totally out of the question. In my company there's more than 22.000 employees and ALL cloud services are banned. I wouldn't trust you guys with any files in any case. Local backup only.
Please, work on a proper solution for W10. It's getting comical.
An error occurred while saving the comment Jan commentedC'mon Adobe. Still no Windows support for mobile preview?!! Are you planning to ditch Windows 10? I'm starting to doubt you guys as there is absolutely no progress in terms of XD and windows.

An error occurred while saving the comment Jan commentedIt should be possible to reuse assets like colors and character styles without having to apply changes in source document. That way we could reuse these individually between artboards on same document or on artboards in separate documents instead of having to establish all of them again for a new project. Very annoying when I wanna reuse the text labels and "semantics" for an existing set of assets but change colors and text attributes (dark mode for instance) just for that separate document or artboard. It should be possible to break the assets links!

An error occurred while saving the comment Jan commentedIts' been 2 years and 5 months since this basic feature was requested. Any updates?!
Jan supported this idea ·An error occurred while saving the comment Jan commentedPlease make it possible to add a drop shadow to grouped elements. I have this row with 5 white boxes where each box have a 1 px border. I grouped all boxes to add a drop shadow to the shape as its going to act as drop down menu, but it's not possible cause there are no shadow available in the properties panel. The only way to make the shadow properties appear is to double click one of the rows in my group, I'm then able to add shadow to that single element, but that's not what I want. I want the shadow to be applied to the whole list as one element. I have numerous situations where I need this!

An error occurred while saving the comment Jan commentedI second that. Should be mandatory cross ALL Adobe apps.

An error occurred while saving the comment Jan commentedI'm unable to store two identical colors or typeface assets in my assets panel, the + icon gets grayed out. I presume this is a bug cause it is obvious why we need to be able to store several assets that carry identical properties. In many cases one color can carry different applications, a border color could be a border on buttons but also the background color another place in the UI. We should be able to add as many identical color assets as we want due to this so the developers and other receiving shared files can read the text in the assets panel and learn how to apply etc.

An error occurred while saving the comment Jan commentedVery annoying to constantly having to remove that default border. A border is an attribute and should not be a default thing at all. In Illustrator it remembers that I have no border as default and I get to choose to add it whenever I want by, yes you guessed, adding a border feature. So please Adobe STOP adding a border to all my vector elements by default!

An error occurred while saving the comment Jan commentedC'mon Adobe. Don't let Sketch be the go to application for UI design just because you don't integrate third party software. Be agile and add material design editor to XD and all similar tools.

An error occurred while saving the comment Jan commentedEvery single asset I include in design specs gets zipped. So if I include a group of vector assets every single of them gets delivered as single zip files. So if I have 22 squares with different numbers in them that equals 22 single files. What's the point in that? And what's the point in zipping single files?

We announced CC Spaces in XD today at Adobe MAX! In a space, all invitees of a prototype or design spec will see the container with some context as to what the initiative is. More details to come!
An error occurred while saving the comment Jan commentedThis is also on my wishlist.

An error occurred while saving the comment Jan commentedIn InVision I can choose from several different mobile phones to display my mobile mockups inside. This gives the prototype an autentic look. I think this feature is deeply missed in XD. Showing screens only with no mobile phone is lame. InVision is much better in that respect.

Embedding fonts would make things so much more predictable for all parties involved in the iteration. Please find some way to show the actual typeface that is used in the shared XD files instead of the outcome being random fallback fonts.
