For those stumbling on this page, you can download a bullet or list plugin from the Adobe Plugins. It's not brilliant – native support would be much better – but this can provide you with a workaround.

Honestly Adobe this is getting ridiculous, are you doing it on purpose? This is only one of the many missing features for text editing. Now I'm really considering moving to Figma...

Bullets and numbered lists are fundamental;
this should be really be added as a feature, along with text ident.
For anyone requiring a workaround today,
however, the following doesn't take too much time to set up and populate:
1. Isolate a sample line of text in a text frame, and set the text frame type of "Auto Height".
2. Create a text frame (or a graphic) for the a bullet in position to the left of the line of text.
3. Select both elements and create a component.
4. Duplicate the new component and offset vertically, one or more times.
5. Select the set of components and group.
6. Set the group to a vertical stack (with even spacing).
You can then drag-copy additional items within the stack to extend the list.
When a list item is longer or shorter, the auto height frame will adjust and the stack will automatically re-space all items.

Good grief, are we still waiting on this? Maybe press pause on fancy financial app chart animations (how many people are doing financial apps?) and add lists. It can not be be that difficult?

For what reason would bringing in recordings and outer connections be created prior to adding the capacity to add records? XD is poop contrasted with Sketch or Figma. Nothing in it fills in as it ought to. You can't make list things appropriately without some kind of insane module. https://manifoldmining.com/pages/bulk-orders

Not as important as 3D transforms and angular gradients apparently...

Please add bullet points and lists asap - they are really necessary!

Ordered and Unordered lists have been on the web for decades. It's more basic and useful than super/subs. O_o

Please add this! Such a basic feature to be missing.

Why would importing videos and external links be developed before adding the ability to add lists? XD is crap compared to Sketch or Figma. Nothing in it works as it should. You can't even create list items properly without some sort of half baked plugin.

Tabulator is as well needed, even if it is not a feature for web. But all basic text formating options should be there! (Mouse clickable/ selectable text in PDF-Export as well!)

As a lead designer currently upskilling by learning code & development, it seems silly that unordered lists (bullet points of any kind) are not a function in XD, how is this the industry standard? Lists are the bread and butter of code -- this function needs to be added for a smooth transition from design to development.

How does inner shadow take priority over the most basic of text formatting? We need this and the CSS output for Dev Handoff Share. Every quarterly update for XD contain features that still lack BASIC design functions. I'm baffled that the product owner prioritizes bells and whistles over core functionality. Adobe are you listening?

"inner shadow" is not more important than bullet point in a job, we can't tell the client that "please do not update your T&C too much, because adobe xd still not that convenience to do bullet point."
Pls do the basic things well before you want to do some fancy effect!

just a simple question: why is it not possible to add bullet points to texts? this is a rather basic feature, isn´t it?

Bullet/numbered lists are extremely common in websites and apps. I'd recommend the XD team do an audit of a few apps and ask - can we build this with Adobe XD?

We need this feature. There's currently no good alternative solution for lists. please make this a priority
