In practice, it is very often the case that you have to rebuild an element because you only have a pixel graphic and need it as a vector. There is an urgent need to make it possible to rebuild images by making a locked layer (on the top layer) clickable for the elements below it

When I create a repeating grid, it is possible that I can change individual entries from the content. However, it is not possible to adjust the formatting of individual elements such as font color or font style.
Adjusting color or style is also not possible when I select only one word in a text box. It is always the complete text that is adjusted. Unfortunately, this is not practical and is a hindrance in professional work.An error occurred while saving the comment Nadine Gin

If I select an element on the artboard I would like to know, if the color is a component color. Is it possible to highlight the color in the components panel?

If I create a file and share it with a link I am able to update the link.
If I move the file to f.e. OneDrive the already shared link disapears in the file. I can see the link in my overview but I have no possibily to reconnect the link to the file which is difficult for me if I already shared that link to people.Nadine Gin

most times creating a box shape i have to deselect the border style... is it possible to save a preset without border. In PS and InDesign there is a possibilty for that if I open the program and make my presets. When I create a new project I have this settings. Or: In every case without a border.
As well I dont understand that keyboard shortcuts are so different from Adobe product to Adobe product. A lot of people comming from PS or InDesign... (Illustrator is worst in terms of shortcuts).
I miss a proper masking option in XD... One Shape, 2 elements I wanna place inside...

1. In color workflow it is anoying that user has to navigate from elements panel on the left to the very right color tool.
2. Why are the saved colors on the right not shown in the left elements color picker? So I have to copy the hex code vom the right to change it on the left.
3. Find and replace color option: What if I wanna delete a color and replace it with an existing color in the saved elements?

Tabulator is as well needed, even if it is not a feature for web. But all basic text formating options should be there! (Mouse clickable/ selectable text in PDF-Export as well!)
