Select multiple items across different groups
Shift+Click allows to select multiple items.
Cmd+Click allows to select inside a group.
Cmd+Shift+Click would be nice if it selected items across different groups.
It's very useful to change details (i.e. color) across multiple items inside groups (i.e. icons).
Thanks!
This feature is now available in the March release! If you don’t see an update, select the … icon in the Creative Cloud desktop app and select “Check for App Updates.” If you have further feedback on this feature, please feel free to file a new ticket!

I can't believe it's been 2 years since this was requested and it's still not there! Come on Adobe, this is a basic, necessary feature!

Every day brings a new disappointment of basic things which Adobe XD does not let me do. I am regretting importing my Sketch file into here more each day. Given how long the product as been around, I figured the basics would be there by now. I was wrong.

Is it really true that we cannot multi-choose items in different groups????? why XD why????? I love Sketch much more than XD.

+1 for this - I can't align items in different groups without ungrouping everything and ending up with a layer mess.

YES. I can't yet figure out how to select multiple items across multiple artboards at the same time. I do this with ease in Sketch every 5 minutes. Then, I switch to XD and I think I've gone insane and confused why I can't.
I'm even working with converted Sketch designs in XD, and I can't manipulate things the same way. I switch back to the same designs in Sketch, and so easy.
I can't believe this is from 2016 and still hasn't been addressed. I'll make it simple: COPY SKETCH and the way selections and in-group selections work there.

This request should be combined with https://adobexd.uservoice.com/forums/353007-adobe-xd-feature-requests/suggestions/13833198-interactive-form-elements as they both request the same

+1 VOTE FROM ME. This becomes a problem when you have a group of items (ie nav menu) which is buried within many layers on an artboard. To select the group (all items in the group), currently you have to cmd + click on an item within the group, then look at layers hierarchy and click the group icon. This is tedious and constantly slows me down.

So Adobe to miss the essentials needed in an MVP and instead go for shit they can sell at their presentations. Pathetic.

MVP - Can we get it asap? This is basic functionality and I have been waiting for a while for this.

This is the one thing stopping me from committing to XD over sketch

Plus 100000.
Also, aligning an object from one group to another object from a different group is also really useful. Otherwise the workflow is EXTREMELY frustrating. I know this is an MVP, but man this product lacks features. The Background blur could have waited, this feature is way more important. The UX is great overall, but some things are pretty retarded, no offence. -

Adobe XD is basically unusable with this feature missing!
Please implement this multi select feature as soon as possible. -

Honestly, years later and this still hasn't been implemented? Ridiculous.

This is needed. Absolute workflow-breaker if you need to ungroup - edit multiple objects - group again

Need this please! It's in Sketch. But I prefer Xd over Sketch. Need this feature real bad.

while coming from sketch, this was annoying, but the nice thing about how Adobe XD does it is that if I enter a group, i can select all elements in a group by [Cmd+A] or by [holding and dragging], without selecting anything outside the group
but I do see where it can be annoying for some -

Without this feature, I'm forced to either ungroup EVERYTHING or select items and change them one. at. a. time.
