Interactive form elements

Ability to create interactive relationships, like radio inputs, if you select one it deselects the other. Selecting different options can change the outcome when the user hits 'Submit' etc

I support Form request. Must have all four major label placement, major input contols (check boxes, radio buttons, etc)

Can not believe a wire-framing program does not support form toggles or form buttons like checkboxes and radio buttons, seriously I just need an object I can click to reveal a checkbox on then click to revert back...... Literally it should not take 3 years to add more like 3 weeks TOPS who is working on this? They should be fired. At least release this in portions, if there's some huge behind the scenes scope to launch it all at once it's a waste of time and adding to the bad rep of this program compared to its competitors.

Any update on this...? It's been almost three years since the original request.

I use XD to mostly create form pages. This would be absolutely amazing. Currently I have to duplicate entire art-boards or create an overlay art board just to show the contents of a drop-down menu. However if that overlay falls below the scroll line, it's not an option. At times it feels XD doesn't offer much that Illustrator and Photoshop can't already do, but interactive elements such as this would be YUGE.

Really need interactive form elements! I need users to be able to input their own information.

Agree, I requested a similar feature but think this is named better (mine was something like working fields with conditional options).

I can understand that implementing this in XD will not be the easiest task as there are way too many variables to even mention here. But even just giving visual feedback on an element after selected items have been filled would work for me (as long as all the major input field types are covered)

I agree, I've flipped back into making an interactive pdf, it's got more bell and whistles, shame I like XD interface

Also agree this is a must for a prototyping tool....when navigating, users try to type/use forms but can't. As seen on other comments, being able to use variables and create conditions takes XD to a whole new level.

This is a must for a true UX Prototyping tool, until then it’s just another UI wireframing tool - come on give Axure some competition!

If Adobe XD implements this, it will dramatically increase the usefulness of the app. Even more so if they decide to implement all standard form elements as interactive elements AND put them all in a convenient in-app library.

Imagine just dragging interactive form elements into your designs and they just work. Right-click (in prototype mode) to customize the details in a convenient modal, just like we already do for transitions.

Would be great to have variables and conditional interactions for more interactive prototyping. Otherwise it's just styled boxes.

It would be nice to have text boxes that would allow users to add and edit their own text content.

I've had so many conversations about this with colleagues. Even developers seem to have a hard time understanding that form fields are just nice looking rectangles at this point.

Interactive form elements like in Axure or Invision will make XD very useful and let the user be in the Adobe tool stack. No need to get out for design and prototype.

Agree that this is a must in order to make interactive prototypes that exhibit more realism. Login and registration forms are ubiquitous; when the purpose of an XD prototype is user testing, merely showing the forms statically just isn't sufficient.

Furthermore, Adobe, if you want me to stay within the CC ecosystem (and since I'm familiar with it I'd actually rather do exactly that), I shouldn't have to export an XD file to ProtoPie in order to get this functionality.

Yes this is an essential feature, hitting this road block as well!!!!

Interactive form elements is a basic feature for a prototyping tool, otherwise, it's only a simple screen transition tool :(

After spending the time to learn XD and build out a prototype, I quickly learned the lack of Interactive form elements. This is a must to create realistic prototypes. I'm now scrambling to find a prototyping tool to create what I need.

I'm leaning towards Invision at the moment.

Hello Adobe developers, do you think we can bring XD in 2018?

People of this era really appreciate.
