If the XD team were smart, they would create a side app for creating IA flow charts that could be dynamically imported into XD and dynamically linked so that any updates to the flow were automagically updated in XD!!

the effect whereby the position or direction of an object appears to differ when viewed from different positions, e.g. through the viewfinder and the lens of a camera.
Too many designers use the word "parallax" incorrectly. It's a visual effect, not a way to smooth scrolling or fill browser windows. It's the visual effect you see when driving on the highway, trees close up move fast, moutains in the distance move slower, the moon moves even slower. Neither of the cases you describe above require a parallax effect.
