When will this be resolved?

This is the last feature we need in order to use XD with our enterprise clients.

I have just created a 100+ page prototype in XD and want to send this to the client now and just realised by looking for the option that you cannot actually send the prototype in a secure way. I now have a week to try and find an alternative option to get this to the client... more work.

I am astounded that a company such as Adobe did not have this sorted out at the very least in the beginning stages of development. Where are their UX designers...? I would have thought this was a fundamental requirement. I am wondering if their Stakeholders would be happy with their prototypes out there on the public domain. I'm off to Axure or InDesign.

Like many others, this is a must-have feature for me. I absolutely cannot share wireframes or specs without protection.

As a rule, my company requires two-factor auth whenever possible, so you can imagine how much pushback there is to there is when there's no password at all and anyone with a link could see our designs and comments!!!

Really need this to be able to share securely, causing problems now we have committed to building wireframes in XD

I can't use the prototype or specs feature until this is implemented. I'm sure I'm not alone... I doubt Adobe would ever use the prototype tool for internal projects without at least a password.

Yeh need password for security purpose, its better if user provide user name and password like login screen or pin to access prototype

Agreed a 100%! We need some security when sharing prototypes and ideas

Must have the ability to password protect prototypes... This is a deal breaker for any serious business use.

The ability to password protect a link itself (further than an with Adobe ID credentials) would be great .

This adds an extra barrier so that someone who stumbles upon a random link cannot just create a temporary Adobe ID credential set to see the contents.

With everyone else here, this is a major blocker for adopting XD in any meaningful regard.

Some form of protection on shared prototypes is necessary - integration with Azure AD would be the best for the company I work for, but understand that's not a solution that works for everyone.

I appreciate the work being done, but IP security is a very high priority for many companies and hope Adobe acts quicker on this feature.

It's one of the main reasons why my company works with Invision instead of XD.

This would be great! We go to a lot of tradeshows and just having a password function would be great so only our sales can open up the app and nobody else outside our company or who we want the app to be available to. :)

This is a main reason for my organization not approving XD. And we're a little startup!

This really needs to be looked at as a priority. I intend to use XD to test out a new game's UX/UI systems. But I won't be able to share the prototypes with my client as it's not secure.

This is critical for our use. Many prototypes need to be secured for sharing with specific people in-house and clients as there is intellectual property at stake. For many UX/UI designers this would be a no go product in regards to any agreements in place with a client. Which is sad because it's available with an existing CC subscription but means we can't use it...
