We have an app we haven't named yet. Eventually, I am going to have to go back and change "App Name" to something real. The longer I go, the more screens I build, the sadder this day will be when it comes. I can't believe more people aren't requesting this?!?!? Please implement!

Yes, it makes sense! Once we import SVG, we essentially treat it like any other object. It sounds like you want to ensure that your SVGs retain some “image” properties and be able to swap them the way you can already swap images. I’ll keep this one as open for now! Thanks for getting back to us. :)

An error occurred while saving the comment ImpendingDoon commentedWell, I kind of want both.
I like to be able to import them and do light editing (like changing the fill color). If we go beyond that, then we're in Fireworks or Illustrator territory. That could be overkill.
My main issue is that when I drag an SVG onto an existing one on an art board, the expected behavior for me is to REPLACE the image I am dragging to new on on top of. This is how XD works now with bitmaps. I am not expecting to merge or mask the two.
Does that make sense?

Got it. Currently, that’s expected behavior, as double clicking and adding points converts it from a rectangle (which will maintain the corner radius) to a path, which has a different set of rules for resizing (for things like icons). I think what you want is this behavior: https://adobexd.uservoice.com/forums/353007/suggestions/12962355. If this looks good, I’ll go ahead and merge this story with that one.

An error occurred while saving the comment ImpendingDoon commentedAgreed! For now, I've created a "demo scenario picker" in my prototypes (a type of overlay). Once you hit a fork in the road, you pop up the overlay and then choose your own adventure. Kind of breaks the flow, but I can keep everything in one file. Not awesome, but it's still better than creating multiple versions of prototypes and separate files.

Reopening the feature request, based on feedback.

Might this be in an update to the official CC release? Our product name just changed and I have to replace it in a bunch of places. *sigh*
