Horizontal scroll bar on the layers panel
What I ask is very simple: add an horizontal scroll bar to the layers panel, so I can scroll it without the need to resize and making my prototype working area even smaller than it already is. This is a very common aproach to IDEs on the folders panel, despite allowing resizing, they always have an horizontal scroll bar to help navigation on deep levels or small monitors.
This feature would be very appreciated for people with deep components hierarchy levels or smaller monitors.

Padding with component as a background
Allow padding to work even if the background is a component. Currently, there's no easy way to have a component "shrinkwrap" around it's content, as you would commonly want with a card or panel.
Put another way, the limitations on https://helpx.adobe.com/xd/help/set-fixed-padding-for-components-groups.html# specifically state: "Components ... cannot act as a background for a group or component." Please remove this limitation!

Fill container (stack)
Shape/component fill container (stack).
Example:Let's say I have a horizontal stack with two squares and 20px margin between them. It would be really helpful if I could set one or both squares to fill the stack (container). This way If I want to resize the stack as a whole the two squares would automatically resize.
This does wonders for responsive layouts.
Figma has this feature already and it works great.Love what you are doing with XD, I've been using it since day 1 and this is he only thing that's missing for me.

support transparent videos (Quicktime Animation or ProRes4444XQ Alpha)
I work on a path planning project.
User must preview the path.I NEED to produce several iterations of the same path animation, with different colors or informations.
XD will allow me to implement the path representations in the app, without reproducing the user journey in After Effects : It becomes "real"

Keyboard shortcut for 'add state'
create a keyboard shortcut for 'add state' please. or better, a suite of keyboard shortcuts affiliated with adding all the different type of states to a component.
When working through a suite of icons, for example, this is a very tedious process to have to manually repeat 2 states per icon using the mouse to hover over and click every time.

Add object and resize instead of drawing on canvas (like Illustrator)
When creating a Shape (square, circle triangle, line) the 90% of the times I already know the size I need, but is very slow first to draw it and the input the w and h on the panel on the right. It would be nice to create it like in Illustrator. (The X and Y would be nice too but im not that greedy)

Choose any state to be component's default state.
I have built a component library for my teammates to use in their projects. Most components have multiple states for hover, action, etc. What I would like to add is another state that displays the components in a lo-fi style to make prototyping faster. I would like to have the lo-fi as the default state for all of the components since that would be more commonly used by the team, and then as the details are worked out they can switch the state to the actual components to put details in.

Component variants (parent-child, inheritance)
While Adobe XD Team has certainly done an amazing work toward design systems creation in the tool, it still lack a bit of power.
Actually, it's quite tedious to create, maintain and use a design system in XD. Especially when working with multiple variants of a component.
Let's say I need too work on an app design and I want create my buttons in my design system : primary, secondary, alert, w/icon, large, small...
With the current XD, I only have 2 solutions and both have are really time consuming to maintain :

Fast scrolling zoom with press "shift" same function in Mac as Win (shift+alt/or cmd/+scrollwheel
In Windows, it works that when you hold shift + (control or alt) + scrollwheel it does a jump/faster zoom. Unfortunately on macOS when you press SHIFT nothing happens.. This feature works in other Adobe programs as well as macOS. I'm pretty annoyed and don't know how to work around it to make it work the same way. Thanks for the update.

Force a path into a shape so you can edit it like a shape.
It would be be nice if there was a right-click option like "force path to shape." Paths do not have the edit options that shapes do.
For example, when I take a rectangle and change the edges or add new corners, XD automatically changes this to a "path." I've done this both intentionally and accidentally.
If I want to change this shape back to a rectangle so that I can edit the border radius, I have to redraw and restyle that shape from scratch. It would be really cool if Xd could identify the closest shape and force into that…

Comments for coediting files
We need to have a way to leave comments on specific objects or artboards in files with coediting enabled. Should be able to tag other people, assign the comment, and resolve when completed. Bonus points if you can integrate with, like, asana or trello or whatever.

Track changes per user
When Working At the same time in a Document, be able to see the Change Log of each user to what changes were made.
Sometimes when multiple users work on the same file, it would be amazing to see what each user has changed in the document.

Center vertically with text in a stack
in the cell I have rectangle on the left and grouped three different tekst line on the right centered with this rectangle vertically. I grouped these three lines of text and added a stack. When I hide the second line, the third line goes up, but this group (all text) is not re-centered with the rectangle.
with other objects in the grouped stack too.I need such a function in main component. If I change the number of lines of text (or objects) into an instant component to re-center.

Add keyboard shortcut to select artboard
Can we have a shortcut to select the artboard you're currently in? The cmd+click empty space is just not viable in a lot of situations and forces you to do some manual actions (find an empty space, go to arboard in layer panel, navigate to top and click, etc) which takes you out of your design flow.
Sketch implemented it nicely, where you click Esc to exit a group (just like in XD!), but when it's the last group, it will select the arboard. XD just exits.

Instances should not inherit their name from the main component
There’s a number of problems that arise when the component instances don’t have their own name field. Component instances should have an instance name and a name field that always maps back to the master.
Currently, the logic is, if you rename an instance, the connection between the master’s name and the instance name is severed. Though, the actual inheritance link between the master and instance is still intact. This causes a confusing user experience. You can’t tell what’s derived from what.
