   It would be great if the selection borders or highlights or whatever it's called is temporarily hidden while changing attributes. Like there is no need to hit a key or something. Just hide it temporarily so we can see the effect of the changes we make like borders and drop shadow. Then show again after 1-2 seconds of idle time maybe
