It's hard--sometimes impossible--to make out what a shadow looks like when the selection box is around an object.

The box needs to disappear, or at least be altered in some way, so people can tell what the shadow looks like (without having to deselect the object, and reselect it if changes need to be made).

A basic feature we are all accustomed to. Could we please have? Amazingly powerful to edit WITHOUT those otherwise super helpful visual helpers in view.

I like that the selection/editing border turns off while making a change like nudging or colors, but would also like a hotkey to toggle its visibility so I can take in the changes for a longer length of time.

Did you ever implement this feature?
I am losing my mind trying to compare 10 similar shades of grey on a dropshadow and the highlight is always covering it making the process take longer than necessary. I was surprised that I couldn't find any option to temporarily hide the selection highlight, it really would speed up workflow if there was a keyboard shortcut for that.

It would be great if the selection borders or highlights or whatever it's called is temporarily hidden while changing attributes. Like there is no need to hit a key or something. Just hide it temporarily so we can see the effect of the changes we make like borders and drop shadow. Then show again after 1-2 seconds of idle time maybe

When I have an object selected I would like to be able to turn off the blue/green edges, bounding box, outer glow of the object. Sometimes I am trying to nudge things around using the keyboard and I want to view my design without all the extras on top of it. It would be great to have a key command like Illustrator to be able to hide the added selection indicators so I do not have to move things, unselect them, look at the changes, re-select, move a little more... etc.

I mean that blue highlight that shows up on the canvas when an item is selected (both on canvas or via the layers panel) ... it is quite intense and distracting ... and it gets in the way of seeing subtle shadows as they are applied (need to click elsewhere to remove selection highlight in order to see the shadow clearly).

It would be great if there was an option like in Illustrator View > Hide Edges or ⌘H on a Mac ... just an easy keyboard shortcut to show and hide that blue selection highlight on the canvas.
