    I have a long scroll down screen with product listing. Multiple overlay will allow me to let the user choose multiple products from my list by using only two artboards - first one being the scroll down screen, the second one being a selected product state which will be applied to all selected items.

    I have an old flash animation I did in 2001 where you overlay circles with different colour. It is very different then the above but a multiple overlay will allow its creation by having only 4 artboards - 1st one with all red squares then 3 small ones with the different button colour.
