+1 for this! A default action to apply as fill on click of swatch, but maybe an icon over on the right side to apply as border instead of fill. Having to right click & select from menu is an extra step that could have a quick workaround for usability.

+1 for this. It would be really useful to be able to apply a character style without colour overrides. Also to be able to change all instances of a font/weight/size together without having to add every colour instance to the character styles.

I'd really like to see this feature implemented too. The layout of my artboards in Xd can be more of a 'mind-map' style that doesn't necessarily translate into the order I'd like to share with a client, and often my initial prototypes don't include hotspots for time-saving reasons.

@Jody - There is no way of pinning interactive elements, it's not solved at all. I have to manually link up every single item in a (global) navigation menu across every single page.
