Control artboard order for shared prototype
I really think it would be much better to control the artboard order in the artboard section of the interface. A published prototype is viewed in the order of how artboards are placed in the workspace and the order goes from left to right and then top to bottom. I think regardless of their position the order should be arrange from the panel just like other adobe programs

Please add a sort feature at the minimum - name sort for the shared artboards or something like that.
I OFTEN share the prototype in 'grid' view so that they can see what is coming, rather than jump right into it.

Please make it possible to re-organize the artboards in the share environment.
Thats it. -

One of the little thing that I do find unpractical for sure. Hope you can allow control for this.

The workaround to add pages L to R, Top to Bottom to have them be in a certain order is not helpful when you design your pages in a mega menu navigation type of style, or for any large site, for that matter. Please create a way to make the ordering more easy and intuitive, thanks!

Please this is very needed and for some reason overlooked since 2017.
Why can't the artboard simply be published following the order in the artboards panel?
One would thing that it's a relatively easy to implement feature. You already have export capability and the artboard list. -

Have a 60p document, needed to add in one new page, it's dropped it into the middle. My clients use the page numbering for reference. this has now thrown out all their Jira docs.

Exactly. Clients use the page number as navigation many times and it's frustrating that you can't change the order of pages. Any page would jump in randomly anywhere in the flow!

Very needed option. I feel that I have very little control over how my project arrangement looks when shared. And I'm tired of work-arounds everywhere (if they work) instead of user friendly solutions :(

Current ordering of pages in the prototype is based on the position of artboards on the canvas: left-to-right and top-to-bottom. However, as designer I like more control over my canvas and group artboards based on project-logic. Please consider using the panel with all artboards on the left (when no artboard is selected) to set the order for export, by dragging them up or down. This behaviour would be consistent with Illustrator's Artboard panel in which you can order the artboards (and this way set the page order for export to pdf for instance) without interfering with the lay-out of my canvas.

Adding my vote for this feature - looks like it's been an issue for years, and it makes sharing so much less functional.
We need to be able to set which artboard the sharing should start from and exclude overlays and such.

need the ability to arrange or control how artboards are displayed in shared view....adding ascending numbers to dartboard titles and aligning art-board does not work. this is a make or break feature for a product of this type

I agree, but only a clarification. You are wrong when you said, "...the order goes from left to right and then top to bottom". The order is, currently, first from top to bottom and then from left to right.
And I think: If the order of the artboards isn't controlled by the panel called "Artboards", for what the drag of artboards in that panel? It is confusing. -

I had to create new XD document and copy the artboards in desired order to get it working.

In the artboard overview I have the "Setup Process" and "Mail Template" artboard first. I would like to have the same order in the web overview of all artboards. Currently it would be completly other artboards. like dashboart and a popup artboard... In case there are many artboards it may make sense to order them by priority...

One issue with the using the artboard order in the ARTBOARDS panel is that they are added from bottom to top, as you add new artboards. So the order in the published prototype should also be from bottom to top, otherwise we would need to reverse the order of every artboard.

Totally agree. I thought the screen sequence would be taken from the artboard order

I would like to control which order my artboards are displayed when sharing. One way to do this would be to name my artboards "10", "20", "30", etc, and the ascending numbers will determine the order in which they're shared.
The way it currently works is that the order is determined by placement on the canvas, from top left to bottom right.
This doesn't work well, especially if you're designing Wireframe flows where related screens are sitting one on top of the other.

And:
• split/sort my links into client-"folders" (!!!)
• when I'm logged in I can navigate to other shared links
• better UI for the stakeholder view
• invitation links to stakeholders
• background is black (so more focus on the design)
• I can see a tablet when I design tablet size
• better comment mode
• activity and history mode
• canban
• better UI

Definitely need the ability to organize the artboards in the published prototype. My clients get lost and confused by overlay artboards and such. Really need the ability to create specific workflows. Maybe even the ability to select whether we would like overlay artboards to show in the published view. Please fix ASAP. :)
