As of April 2021, all scroll areas in XD move at a fixed speed. If there are two scrollable areas layered on top of each other then they will both move as one. The idea for adjustable scroll speeds would be able to choose the scroll speed for a scroll area. For example, if there are three scroll areas layered on top of each other, with the first layer set with a scroll speed of .5, the second layer with a speed of 1, and the third with a speed of 2, the final result when scrolling would be a parallax effect.
I have been searching for a way to create a parallax effect that is controlled when scrolling. I think this would be a simple add-on that could have a powerful effect on how people use the program.
I am interested in whether or not this feature is possible. Are there any variables that I am not aware of that would make this feature difficult?
Thank you for taking the time to read my suggestion.
