    Adding my 2 cents here: This would help Xd adoption by quite a bit, by making introducing Xd into PSD-centric workflows MUCH easier.

    As it stands, the lack of PSD export prevents me from using it with a few of my clients.

    Yes, I agree! Please add PSD export!

    A project I was working on was delayed since a project I was doing required a PSD.

    For those wondering how, you CAN export it as a PDF, open it in Illustrator, and then open in Photoshop aannnnd create a new file with the right specs and move the layer. But that's a pain, as you also have to UNGROUP everything in XD first so the layers (groups) aren't flattened in the end and you lose your components.

    Maybe since XD is vector based we can get an option to make components smart layers? Similiar to working back and forth with Illustrator and Photoshop.

    XD is great, but I am only able to use it for prototyping at thsi point.

    you can export each screen in pdf file and open the pdf in PSD

    It's strange to me this isn't upvoted more :) Maybe it's not needed that much within a studio environment, but if you are independent designer and need to hand off assets to a dev team or an agency, literally every developer I've ever worked with expects a .PSD file. Please don't go with Apple's "deal with it" approach to product design :)

    Our office is thinking of shifting from Sketch to XD. But without PSD export this software is unusable (for us) - as all of our developers work from PSD. This is crazy! Many developers (App & Web) insist on PSD's.

    I think it's a very useful feature and it's very essential, it can also help both designers and developers to communicate.

    It's definitely a must have feature. Recently I had issue with developer who wanted designs in PSD but I had done UI designs in XD, not knowing who was going to develop it. It'd be massive help if we get this feature introduced in XD. Thanks.

    Please add this - need to pass off Xd files to the developer
