Hi All! Check out today's update of XD. It is version 47 and includes the ability to make any object a hyperlink. To use hyperlinks:


1. Go to Prototype mode

2. Select an object and add an interaction.

3. Choose a trigger like Tap.

4. Choose the action Hyperlink.

5. Add a destination URL.

    There is at least one+ every week for this feature. Assuming that the effort for this is low, you can easily make lots of people happy by adding this to the next update.

    We have separate files with hundreds of artboards on each XD file. I need a separate Index file which can be linked to these module/file/XD prototype link

    The link to external URL's from a prototype still not available. Please add this feature, it is much needed by UXer's and much appreciated. Thank you Adobe XD team!

    PLEASE ADD THIS. Would deepen the immersion of wireframes for apps & sites that rely heavily on linking to other apps/webpages

    Ie would be super helpful if you allowed Hyperlinking to external sites while prototyping, as well as for the developer view

    I would like to hear from Adobe on WHY such a no brainer function doesnt exist in XD. Microsoft Word has it. Try sending a prototype link to a client and try telling them sorry, Adobe's app doesn't support testing button links. Embarrassing. Any plugins doing it?

    My presentation will be lame for lack of this feature. I am almost preferring the interactive PDF produced and published by Adobe InDesign. But it's a shame that XD doesn't have this feature.
