Allow users to adjust the frequency of auto-save or to turn auto-save on / off

As a user, I want to be able to adjust the auto save frequency on cloud documents so that I have more control over my system and my file, and my workflow is not interrupted.

Right now, the auto save seems to save my work every X edits, which would be great if XD didn't slow down or freeze during this, unfocus typing, and generally interrupt my entire workflow.

For example this just happened to me again: I manually saved a document. Then I clicked into an element (not component) and adjusted the text, then I clicked on the parent element and used alt+drag it to create a copy. While dragging, the auto save feature kicked in, which unfocused my alt+drag, leaving the parent element moved instead moving a duplicate element. Pressed ctrl+z, then used alt+drag on the parent element again, only to have auto save invoked again only this time after I regained control, XD registered the alt+drag on a different element, creating a copy of that one.

Imagine this and similar situations literally 10-12 times an hour. Because you can only use cloud documents to create design systems and you can't replace a cloud document with a different local version, this undesirable execution of a feature makes using design systems difficult.

Please consider allowing us to adjust the frequency of auto save for cloud documents, or at the least allow us to turn off auto save.

    Anytime I touch my file, XD wants to autosave. Take into account the complexity of my file and how intensive it is to save it, it basically means that the application freezes twice every minute. It's impossible to work with. I'd like to be able to disable autosave or adjust the fequency.

    Its annoying and it will affect or speed of thought.
    when we are working on wireframes then its even horrible.

    it's impossible to work when every 10-20 sec it auto-save!

    An even more devastating consequence is that when you accidentally close a cloud-based file, it will be saved in that state, and you can't roll back or undo your mistakes by using Cmd/Ctrl-Z...

    I am working on a big file and saved it to the cloud as I have to use the doc from multiple places. However, not all the places have a good internet connection, for which most of the time XD freezes when it can not immediately save the file. It really bothers me and it kills a lot of my time to wait for it to save first and then move along with other tasks. It would be really helpful if we can have a "Turn off autosave" button for the cloud documents. I can save the file manually once I am done with editing (No problem with me). Please take this matter seriously.

    I would like to see improvement in the cloud document save process. The fact that it constantly decides when to save interrupts my workflow because it freezes the document or makes it VERY slow until it is done saving.

    I like having versioning and the ability to share the document with other team members but it is almost impossible to work with in the current state. Either changes must be made to the speed of the save, or it should allow the user to save when they want to, instead of automatically.

    Please allow users to customize autosave time increment or switch to manual saving.

    This could be helpful in many cases when autosave is causing XD to freeze and/or slow down (now this happends very very very often and I have no way around it).

    I am experiencing the same issue right now. Where is it just impossible to keep working inside of Xd. I am also not sure if the problem is with the numbers of linked assets, the auto-save or if it's because of the co-editing, like having more than one user at a time.

    I'm experiencing freezing/interruptions in my work flow whenever Auto-Save is running. Performance seems to have degraded either from 1) The recent update 24.x or 2) Creating many new component states. It's becoming unusable.
