Manage artboard export order into PDF
Hello team, make it possible to reorder Artboards as it's done on PowerPoint (Slides). This is helpful when we export all artboards into PDF. we will be able to change the order of artboards.

Please allow to export Artboards in the order they appear in the Artboards list. Sorting the artboards for export should NOT affect the way you have them arranged!
Also I don't get why you're allowing sorting in the artboard list if that order is not considered at all when exporting. What's the point then? -

If I position my artboards in a vertical sequence order (stacked) and ensure that the layer order reflects this order as well i.e 1,2,3,4,5, my single paged PDF file needs to export in that order. It should not be dependant on me having to create horizontal artboards left to right only. This is quite frustrating

This is a huge issue. Every single time I need to make a small update to XD - I need to spend more time just to re-arrange in the PDF version despite having them all properly ordered in the artboard panel and on the screen ordered from top to bottom , left to right. This needs to be fixed.

This is a huge deal for prototyping and wires and client presentation. The artboards should always be alphanumeric in order naturally. And I should be able to override that, and
output by selection or range Just like any other output. I just found out, XD orders the boards in order of when they were created. Bizarre and now that I'm looking at them, it's true. This needs to get fixed asap please Adobe. -

Reordering the artboards using the "ARTBOARDS" tab doesn't really hold the correct values. You can test to see if the boards order is correct by selecting all of them, cmd+x, then cmd+v. They will paste back in in the order that XD is holding them in regardless of how you arranged them

This still appears to be a problem.

You could try my trick. I'm sure many of you would have cracked it already. Just create artboards in series one by one, in the sequence, then copy paste layouts from older artboards.

What's the point of organize artboard order on the layers panel and not being able to export than in that particular order??

And left > Right to Top > Bottom is NOT working properly anyway..

I use prototypes with keyboards arrow to explain subsequentially evolution of a work.
reorder the artboards should be very usefull instead of copy/paste. -

Yep, XD needs a panel to manage artboards. I should be able to order them visually however I want, and set the export order separately.

Katrina HS is 100% correct - "Artboards should be exported in the order they appear in the Artboards list. Quick & easy to sort that way and doesn't need to affect the way you have them arranged."

I felt this pain when it was time to export all my artboards to PDF the other day. I had to go back and rearrange all the artboards so that they read left to right and top to bottom (which is how XD interprets the order of artboards).
Not sure what the best solution is to this problem, but I agree with the problem.
