Name PDF File Name when exporting to PDF
Currently when you export to PDF there is no option to name the PDF file you are saving, even if you've only selected a few artboards, meaning I have to go back onto the desktop after the fact and edit the filename of the exported PDF.

I tend to work on screen flows from a single XD document but like to break them up into smaller/separate documents when exporting as .pdf for my developers. Right now I cannot name it something different while saving (I can only change the save location). This lack of renaming is true for all the exportable file types and should be added.

Totally agree. This is annoying to switch to Finder and rename previously exported pdf not to replace it.

I could't believe it's not possible. I still can't. Come on!

This. It's so annoying not being able to name PDFs if there is more than one page exported. I have to rename them ALL THE TIME!

This topic really needs more attention. The reasons below are completely valid and the thing is, you can rename anything else, but Artboards to PDF. Please listen to this thread.

Hard to believe this one only has 9 votes! This is a basic feature that should be supported when exporting files, as it is far too easy to accidentally overwrite a file you meant to keep.
Maybe this isn't getting voted up much because the ability to export a few artboards is so hidden, so people might not be finding the need to rename the export file if they always export all artboards.

Single PDF from Multiple Art Boards
When creating a single PDF from multiple Art Boards, there is no option to give the PDF a unique name. The single PDF always inherits the XD document name.
I have a document called MyProject.xd
I have 10 art boards in the document
I export art boards 1-5 to PDF and select single PDF file.
I get MyProject.PDF
I want to export art boards 6-10 to PDF and select single PDF
I get warning message that I will replace the previous MyProject.PDF, there is no chance to choose save as or give a name to the document.
I have toSave in a different location.
Go to the finder and rename the first PDF I created. -

The new 'Export For Screens' function in .ai is ideal

Lets say I have different sets of screens I would like to export out separately.
My initial step would be.
1. Export all screens at once and split the pages manually in Acrobat and give them different names or select the sets of screens that I want and export them out.2. Currently I am unable to rename the pdf to go along with the set I've selected.
3. If I were to update and export out changes to the set, I can't select the pdf file to replace.
Usually in other application, when I export or save, theres an option of renaming the file or replacing a file thats already been created.
