Name PDF File Name when exporting to PDF
Currently when you export to PDF there is no option to name the PDF file you are saving, even if you've only selected a few artboards, meaning I have to go back onto the desktop after the fact and edit the filename of the exported PDF.

There needs to be a way to name a PDF that contains multiple screens when saving. Currently this only works if you are saving one screen as a PDF. It adopts the file name when saving multiple screens and doesn't allow for a new name.

Allow us to rename files when exporting because it is really annoying exporting files and it just rewrites the document or we have to scramble and rename previous files.
These are such simple ideas!

In previous versions, there was possible to export PDF with the name I wanted to. This request is because not all the time I export the full app, I try to export some flows for the leadership team.

No so, when I export the doc it obviously saves as the name of the document, but when i make changes on the document it obviously adds to the version history, so when exporting to pdf or png etc it doesn't allow me to save it e.g. Document V2.pdf

I would like to be able to rename my document when saving while not saving over documents even though there is version control. Also to be able to change names when exporting

Please provide an editable field while exporting artboards to PDF. I usually have multiple flows within a design file and if I have to export a batch of those screens as a flow, the PDF is saved as the file name itself and if I wish to export another set of artboards from the same file, I wont to be able to export as the filename already exist. This is so annoying and time consuming as I have to create unnecessary folders just to avoid the duplication of file names.

This is currently a real pain. My workflow isn't to batch export a hundred assets. I have to manually prepare specific parts of elements, states, whatever, so it's precise for me to export things individually.
Currently it's impossible for me to ascertain whether names from multiple files are clashing because there's no view into the folder or directory; also, I need to rename often, so have to run over to the file system and do it there.
I don't understand why this window needed reinventing, but I definitely crave an export process more similar to all other Adobe products (or any other software, really).

I still can't do this, but my colleagues can. Is there any options or settings preventing me from changing the name of the exported PDF?

When I am working to create a logo for my website, I want to create many versions of the same file/logo/design such as by size, color, shape, etc. Every time I want to export, it will try to change the existing file. I cannot rename while exporting, for example, logo1, logo2. logo3, etc. When exporting give us an option of "save as" or auto-generate new name for it. It's really difficult to work like this. (As you can see at the screenshot, the only option I am given is to replace the existing file, I don't want to replace. I made a slight change to the design, I want to export changed-version of it).

the whole export menu is wack in adobe xd, it needs to be redesigned from scratch

I feel like they have it this way to encourage people to use shared prototype link more,
but this is one is really annoying and the whole export menu needs to be redesigned from scratch -

Its always troublesome for me since I do multiple versions or corrections. It always replaces the existing files. To rename I have to totally change the xd project file name. It will be easy to rename while exporting to PDF.

Man, this just kills my workflow. What gives Adobe? who's bright idea was it to make it so we can not name the export file?? Slap them upside the head for being an idiot. Then URGENTLY fix this.

Seems like this product should have shipped with this super duper fundamental feature, no?

Agreed, exporting artboards to PDF needs an editable filename. See also https://adobexd.uservoice.com/forums/353007-adobe-xd-feature-requests/suggestions/17158217-name-pdf-file-name-when-exporting-to-pdf

When I export, the exported file name defaults to the name of the XD file.
I often have multiple pages / flows within one file - however if I want to export for example one particular feature's mockups (5 artboards of the 30 pages I'm working on) into one PDF, I can't name that PDF uniquely.
It makes no sense that I can't specify the file name of what I'm exporting at the time of the export

This request needs to be merged with this: https://adobexd.uservoice.com/forums/353007-adobe-xd-feature-requests/suggestions/15531480-exporting-as-pdf-with-custom-file-name-different-t
....and then this feature needs to be added Immediately. Or just skip the first part
