Some SVG gradients are missing

SVG gradients are not rendered correctly when importing this image in AdobeXD.
See the reference file with embedded bitmaps to see how it is rendered compared to how it should be rendered.

SVG gradients that rely on `gradient-transform` don’t import well yet. Other gradients, including most gradients created in AI, should import just fine already.

We are working on a Gradients editor now. But if you bring objects with gradients from other tools, it should work. Importing SVG with gradients is supported.

Shadows aren’t supported but that will be added soon.

When importing just a square with a diagonal gradient, the gradient does not show up. The fill shows that it is a linear gradient, but there are no handles to edit the gradient and it just looks like a solid color. I'm assuming the gradient isn't being read correctly and thinks it's outside of the shape. The current workaround is to change it to a different gradient type then back to linear, and manually change the direction with the handles.

It would also be great if there was an easy way to change just the direction of the gradient (eg 90 degrees) instead of having to drag the handles.

    I found a workaround.
    1. Select the shape with the errant gradient.
    2. Select the color fill in the properties panel. It should appear as a "gradient" even though one doesn't render in your object.
    3. Change the gradient type to one of the other gradient types (i.e change from linear gradient to radial gradient). The gradient appears in the shape but is the wrong type.
    4. Change the gradient type BACK to what it should be. The gradient now renders correctly.

I have the same problem. I'm trying to import an SVG in XD and it loses multiple layers of coloring. I have no idea how to fix this, but having a solution would really make my day!

    Tomorrow is Christmas.
The same gradation object paste error has occurred in my work. For me, I also searched Google and YouTube reviews to solve the gradation error in my work. However, Illustrator and XD. There is still no news of the ability to patch or correct gradient object errors for both applications.

Any update on this bug? I have the latest Illustrator version and SVG gradients are still randomly dropping out.

As a user, I would like Xd to handle SVG gradients consistently and reliably.

    Details
The only way I could get this particular vector art to work was to expand the gradient into 256 segments in Illustrator.

    Expected Results
Gradients look the same in Xd as they do in other pieces of software.

    Observed Results
Gradient defaults out to an organ color despite different grouping / flattening techniques.

Any update on this? SVG support is fundamental.
