Collaboration on same document (real-time OR check-in / check-out model)
I would love to be able to work with my design team at the same time on the same file on different computers and instantly see changes made by someone else in realtime.
Currently, we use Google Drawings to create wireframes because it allows us all to work in the same file at the same time and to instantly see changes made.
synchronous collaboration
Google Docs
I’m pleased to announce that we’ve introduced Coediting in its early form in XD 24. You can get more info on this beta feature on letsxd.com. If you have feedback for us, please do file them as separate tickets here on UserVoice!

At least make it so that more than one Adobe ID can update the prototype! It's impossible for another designer at the office to update the design and keep prototype comments when the original creator isn't around... Any office that has more than one designer needs this for XD prototype to be usable. That should have been a feature since the beginning.

Please bring in collaboration features so it's possible to have our team to work on a single XD doc.

Its ADOBE Guys, what do you expect...
SLOW is there Mantra.
They have always great ideas, just putting it fast in reality, is not there strength.I wish , a young new company would create a cool prototyping app.

So I guess no collaboration is possible. I think I will wait for Invision Studio then. It is unbelievable that this is still not possible in Adobe xd.

Could we at least have a way for different XD designers (who are sharing XD projects on Creative Cloud Teams) to be able to use the same update link for publishing after making updates? For example, if I publish a project and then save XD file, then a colleague opens the XD file to work on it, they cannot then update the same publish prototype link, only publish from scratch using a new shared URL which seems silly.

We'd like to collaborate on a single file. All team members should then be able to update the published prototype/version of the file without breaking comments/annotations.
We sometimes work off a file stored on our shared server. At present it appears that only the person who created the file has permissions to update the published prototype.

I dont even mind if only one person can work at a time. Its just important that only one file is updated!!!!!

With our team growing the multiple files being created by opening a file on a different device or account is becoming hard to manage. Work is being lost because updates or revisions aren't saved to a master file.

lol this will take as long as it took them to add jpg exports so about 1 more year. Switching to figma haha this company is so slow.

This is the number one reason I forced my team to use XD instead of sketch. This is the only reason I could point to on why it was significantly better and worth the time to switch to. We have yet to hear anything since MAX and looking more and more like its not going to happen. With a new major hire coming onboard, I think it might be time to switch back to the more feature filled Sketch. C'mon Adobe. You got this. Help us out here
