Collaboration on same document (real-time OR check-in / check-out model)
I would love to be able to work with my design team at the same time on the same file on different computers and instantly see changes made by someone else in realtime.
Currently, we use Google Drawings to create wireframes because it allows us all to work in the same file at the same time and to instantly see changes made.
I’m pleased to announce that we’ve introduced Coediting in its early form in XD 24. You can get more info on this beta feature on letsxd.com. If you have feedback for us, please do file them as separate tickets here on UserVoice!
I love XD already, but our company cannot use it because this feature is missing. Something you have been marketing since the start of XD. It feels like a bit of a scam now, "working on since 2 years ago". You actually owe us a status-update.
Do you have any updates? This feature has been has backlog during a long time, the reality is that in most of the companies the designers do not work alone and we have to work in a team which is very difficult with adobe xd, it is a coming and going of files v1, v2, v3. It would be great that at least give an approximate date to know if I stay with you or decide to migrate to other tool.

This needs to be pulled from the backlog and put on the front burner. Frankly, it's the reason WHY our organization stayed with SKETCH. The designers need to share work and collaborate on single documents - together. The Adobe flow with XD is just not working for design teams.
I'm now having to abandon Adobe XD for a major project because of this missing collaboration functionality :-(
Meanwhile, I still have to work on prototying/wireframing projects with other people.
Does anyone recommend a tool that WILL allow me to collaborate on interactive prototypes? I'm familiar with many tools that exist for this purpose (Sketch, InVision, etc). I'm looking for recommendations based on your personal experience.

I'm starting to think Adobe XD is an abandoned project. There is so much missing functionality, it really just feels like an unfinished product. There is so much potential for XD that will probably never be realized. Prototyping would be so much more powerful with real-time collaboration, animation capabilities (allow me to create gifs in photoshop and export to XD), and simple variable functionality (the ability to type in a phone number, even if we can't use it in another art board, would be incredible.)
If the above is too much to ask for, surely you have time to post an update for us.

This is needed.

Hi @Elaine I know you last posted this in 2016 but an update would be nice.
Feedback for the concept:
He didn't show any interactivity on the preview and I know you're now working with Assets and Batch export. but the one thing that will need to be a part of a "style guide" is the ability to produce a singular "truth" document that has everything shown in one page and the specs for each piece. Dimensions, fonts, colors or the Assets, etc. all in one space. If its not going to be a singular document (pdf or some format) it will need version controlling built into it. My devs are very skittish about using XD because a document/versioning like this for work created in XD doesn't really exist.
loved the preview from MAX 2016. When are you going to implement this?
oh, that would be so cool!
Go go go
Is there any progress ？
When Will These Collaborative Capabilities be Available?
I'm longing for adding the ability for multiple designers to collaborate in real time on the same document in XD.

This is critical functionality for the adoption of the product on my UX team. Please!
Any new news on this? Would be a great feature especially now that Invision Studio has launched with this capability.
Found the blog post, got excited, Googled some more, found this, left this sad comment.
You got to be kidding your customers/shareholders...This is just a joke.
You presented this at MAX two years ago ( https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dn_9u1qtQ8s&t=1412s ). Yet, almost none of those features are available...two years!!!
Just fire the project manager and hire a new one.
Any updates on this?
As a member of a design team, this piece of functionality is a priority for us to collaborate on a prototype. We are currently using Invision but we would be very interested in migrating if this piece becomes available in the near future.

This needs to happen ASAP!
