Check out Mirro for an example of how it could work.

As information architecture is incredibly important. It would be nice to have a way to sketch the flow of the information before hand then drill down to more and more clear design details. I know it would not currently be a high priority feature or an expected function of XD but this type of one stop shop for design from beginning to end would be a stand out feature in the design software space.

The UX/UI is broken in XD. Select an object then select an Asset Color and it only applies to the fill. There is no swap colors between fill and stroke like in Illustrator. The only way to apply a preset color to a stroke is by using the eye dropper tool and then there's no recursive updating of the color. If there is an asset color change you *MUST* go through every stroke applied to objects and eye dropper the updated color, or copy and paste the appearance.

Was just informed that you can right click on an Asset Color to apply it to stroke but this still constitutes as a broken UX in my book.

Also this story may be similar to this other Story, but in UserVoice ther's no way for me to attach my mock up of the solution.

Within all the other Adobe software and one competitor you can create custom shortcut keys to help with your workflow. Please allow me/the user to see in the software the list of all the keys and be able to edit them and possibly upload a config file of the shortcuts. This would be a marked differentiation in the space. Most other SW that competes with XD doesn't have this just a list on a tech support site.

This would be a great addition.
Here is an example of how it could work :

    This is from InVision:
    https://youtu.be/nAfxPMEiwno?t=109

    From Powerpoint:
    https://youtu.be/kw_udjD2xwo?t=13
(love the simple list of effects and the effects tracking) honestly a lot of this would be usefull the timeline game though is weak)

    After Effects:
    https://youtu.be/Mtv8QptWNbg?t=413
(may not need to be as complicated as AE allows for but the timeline for each art board would be useful)

    *traceability

    not "tractability"

I know the intention was to have a seamless link with updates all done without viewer knowing. But that should be an option for the prototype not a default setting. Like a checkbox or toggle for "Seamless URL" when exporting. The main reason for this is tractability in the development of the prototype/Spec.

File name inclusion and URL naming convention tracking.
These four URLs are two different projects but no one can tel which ones are which.
Please add the creator's name, the file's name and the date of link's creation to the file URL. Also updating the file should corrupt the old URL.

    Current and hard to follow:

    https://xd.adobe.com/spec/c91c82f3-92f9-496a-b989-b0ad0c67760d/
(random characters have been scrambled to be bad links intentionally)

A good URL examples could be:
    https://xd.adobe.com/ScottC/Mydesign_DevReady/2018-09-28/spec/08fe48b3-2244-4613-1a1c-bb1f708fd3ec

    1) ScottC is my name (the account who uploaded it). That way I can trace who made the file change
2)The full string of the file name that way anyone who looks at it and knows the naming structure can understand it.
    3) The date the file was uploaded. This would be important to tractability of the changes.

If a person on the team changes the file it should out-date / "corrupt" / invalidate the URLs previously created. This way someone isn't working on the wrong generation of design spec. On the screen of the URL it should state that this isn't the most up-to-date file. See screen shot.

Samples of how this should work can be found at most CMS managed sites:

This Uservoice.com site i'm writing on right does a good job of it.

I posted this as a comment on a similar feature request but as I was writing it I realized it's more specific on details and has a deeper scope.

URL of Req I commented this on:

Kenneth, would you mind breaking out SWF import as a separate feature request? That way people can gauge whether people want both or which one is higher priority. I’ll remove SWF from the title here so it’s focused specifically on HTML import.
