Scroll to Anchor Link Target
The anchor link that target the specific part of the page. This is the significant user experience on web usability where user can "back to top" or can navigate (i.e. from menu bar) to the specific sessions without the need to scroll through entire pages.
In today’s release of XD, we’ve introduced scroll to anchor link. You can learn more about this here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CpfKVTkPbgg

THIS PLEASE!

It is hard to believe that this capability is not in XD at this point. Please add this feature ASAP as it is a significant deterrent to mocking up proper designs! There should be a way to link to objects within the artboard itself so that long scrolls and/or workarounds are not necessary.

I was so excited when I first launched XD, and then I found out this is missing....
No words... It's like developing a vector software without including the pen tool :( -

This is absolutely critical when designing web pages and even more so on mobile, where pages are expected to be long! Without the ability to link to a point on the same artboard, Xd is nigh on dead in the water for me.

someone make some script or something while we wait for them doing this nice feature.

Yes please! We really need this.

clicking on a link brings you to another part of the same page

Currently there's no way to target 'self' (i.e. the originating artboard). Being able to do this would allow for transitions such as 'back to top' to be prototyped.

I wonder why there is no official response from Adobe on this request.... I don't see any possible work-around if you do separate pages doesn't work and contradict the outcome if you scroll back & forth on the single page! Please have it done!

Essential, saves duplicating an artboard.

I was really surprised to see that this wasn't one of the first features. There are so many sites that use a one-page layout with anchors. I had to use different software to create a mockup for a client because of this. It's unfortunate because I love just about everything else about Xd.

Hoping this is low-hanging fruit for the XD designers and devs that can be implemented real soon – it's a very common interaction that designers need to be able to implement in their prototypes. It would definitely help when stakeholders are reviewing and navigating prototypes on their own, and it will help the flow of designers' presentations when they are presenting prototypes.

This is currently essential for the prototyping of single page responsive site design. It would be a really welcome addition to the software without a doubt.

One workaround is to duplicate the source page, delete everything above the anchor destination and link back and forth between those dartboards. (Slide Up/Down transition) Its filthy, dirty and anything but DRY but it works.

I agree. This is such a black eye on this … am still trying out alternatives and this is a deal breaker. I would have hoped something so Web 1.0 could have been added in less than the 2 years this issue has been open :-/

This should be added ASAP - will determine what prototyping tool we use
