Scroll to Anchor Link Target
The anchor link that target the specific part of the page. This is the significant user experience on web usability where user can "back to top" or can navigate (i.e. from menu bar) to the specific sessions without the need to scroll through entire pages.
In today’s release of XD, we’ve introduced scroll to anchor link. You can learn more about this here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CpfKVTkPbgg

This does not seem to work with objects grouped in a stack. I have my hold page setup in a stack, and none of the items within the stack are selectable for a "scroll to" action.

Yes, PLEASE we need to be able to link to anchor positions on OTHER pages, crucial for expand/collapse sections (that are not at the top of the page), as mentioned by other users.

I agree about the need to scroll to anchor positions on other pages. This is crucial for some of my designs for expandable/collapsible sections

I would like to echo sentiments mentioned below- There is no way to scroll to specific positions on other artboards. This is essential as I want the text to highlight to a different colour when I am navigating. This could also be solved by allowing multiple tap interactions on one compnenent.

Hi, if you have a fixed menu that highlights the section you anchors - how will you create that in xd? Lets say you have 5 sections and 5 menu buttons. If you press "section 3" the section 3 button will be highlighted.

Is there somewhere already a voting for switching to a specific section on another artboard?

Is there a way to anchor from one artboard to a specific section on another artboard?
For example, imagine you the following navigation on a long landing page:
FEATURES | PRICING | ABOUT US
The "PRICING" link anchors to the bottom of the landing page. With the feature described above, we're good so far. But imagine the user navigates to the "FEATURES" page, a different artboard. Now, from the FEATURES artboard, I want the user to be able to click "PRICING" in the top nav and go back to the pricing section of the original landing page artboard. I can't figure out how to do this in XD.

"This is fantastic, but why not extend it to be able to link to anchor elements on elements on any other artboard?
That would make the "Scroll to Anchor Link Target" feature perfect."
Seconded - why do things halfway?

This is great, thank you. I am sure XD will be adopted by so many more users just because this feature has been added.

Not sure it's still in progress? But I can see scrollTo functionality and works great. But obviously, there's more can be expected: on scroll change state of component.

This was aparently released according to your website. But the version I have doesn't have this feature in at all (updated 2 days ago). Also, your blog post on the released features generates a 404. LOL, I see you quickly deleted that now. So just have to wait I guess.

This NECESSARY functionality is now in 5th place of user requests - but the only one (aside from the purely aesthetic "dark mode") at this top level that's not even "under review" or "started".
PLEASE, we need this! It's impossible to design One-Pager-Layouts without this common functionality!
