I would love to see the color picker include the Asset colors as swatches underneath the "+" button. I currently have to 1) keep switching the flyout between assets and layers and 2) clicking on color input on the right side and sometimes the eye-dropper and then traverse to the left, switch flyouts and pick my color. This is cumbersome and wastes a fair amount of time.

I hope the new color picker comes with a shortcut.

I NEED to type the 3 digit Hexadecimal value. Please make this easy. The Apple color picker is cumbersome.

Wireframes are usually in grayscale, give me a decent grayscale picker. Every 5% of Gray? The Grayscale Slider now is by brightness, so it is reversed to what I am used to in AI, ID, PS. 80% Black should be 80% Black, not 20% Brightness. That is confusing to me.

The colour picker is stronger with other adobe tools like photoshop and illustrator.

Just do hex codes please. I must have spent about 10 minutes trying to find how to enter a hex code lol

Keyboard Command for the Color Picker.

Please add shorthand (3 digit) hex values. Example: allow entering "333" for a fill and have it stored as "333333"

Came here JUST to give feedback on this. And yes, exactly this. Why can't all Adobe products use the same color picker that we're used to in Photoshop and Illustrator?

There is already hex option in color panel. But it LACKS gradient!

Press 'i' for eye dropper (colour picker). Current functionality os good, it just needs to automatically go into magnify mide when pressing the letter 'i' I think...

@Ben Melluish: If the native Mac OS one is trash... look at Windows native picker. No change in last 20 years :-D
