Scrollable Area (not scrolling whole artboard)
Define a scrollable area within an artboard
This provides real-world app use cases, such as a table, slideshow, or iOS dropdown lists.
I’m excited to announce that with XD 30 we’ve added support for Scroll Groups. Try it out and please let us know your feedback.

A scroll area should not be the same as a repeater group. I can use a repeater group inside a scroll area only for the bottom half, for example. While the area at the top half is used by fixed content. Think about Facebook events page for example.
Important: in prototype mode the program should remember the exact scroll position of the last step, and position the scroll at the same coordinates. Otherwise simulating interactions inside elements of a list would be impossible.
This is number one priority. We need scrollable areas in the next update. Until then AdobeXD is useless. You cannot design an app without a scroll area.
fullscreen preview and scrollable prototypes would be awesome. thank you!
Scrollable + Fixed Areas are really important!

Yes please add a scrollable art board, would totally help with process review before actually need to do a full dev
Scrolling content with fixed header and footer for nav bars
Cool! Thank you!
Amen! Really useful to be able to scroll a view. Thanks!
Scrolling is important, but sticky or floating object aswell, like menus, header, footer.

scrolling prototype is more important for us.
Since we will be doing about monthly updates, you will begin to see scrolling functionality trickle into future updates, but, it won't all be available at once.
First, we are planning to simply allow scrolling of artboards created from device templates. So, if you picked an iPhone 6 artboard, made it longer, it should just automatically scroll.
After that, we'll be working on a much larger endeavor to make any group you select scrollable. This scrollable group (whether it is a Repeat Grid or anything else) will have options for you to edit its size and contents. You'll also be able to scroll on the drawing canvas and the preview window.
I agree that scrolling prototyping would make this even better. I also think that having the ability to make certain elements either be able to swipe or tap if you only want to change a part of the screen design.
If no scrollable content is possible adobe should cancel the desktop view :)
Thanks for the update on scrolling Joan, do you have any idea when this functionality will be usable?

Scrolling is definitely needed. XD feels very app focussed and for me this tool needs to work equally well for app and web design. I personally (and my team) will be using it for web design 99% of the time.
I think a very simple solution immediately would be that scrolling works within the bounds of your art board, nothing more nothing less, for the time being...
Yes, in time, responsive behaviour/ability to adjust art board size in preview mode, on the fly would be useful but just a basic tweak right now would be amazing.
Agreed, and have added my vote!
