This would be very helpful while prototyping accessible features for disabled users and for other applications like televisions and other devices that work in a serial environment where users don't have access to a mouse.
The user might have a grid of images. They want to focus the first index and then use the keyboard to move through the grid one at a time. I'd like to be able to choose which keys do different actions. The arrow keys and or tab key might move the user through the grid while the Return key might select an image.

Great Idea
also... It would be nice to attach an animation or "selected state" that the designer would create to any given element that might be in focus. A visual indicator or animation or both that would allow the user to see what's in focus
