XD blocks copying text from external sources.
Hello There,
Being a designer I use XD as a primary tool for my daily deliverables. Post this recent update XD blocks copying text from external sources. I have been typing it manually on the XD file but, for the icons and special characters there is no way around to place it on XD file.
Apart from the above the regular text copy issue still persists in XD authoring environment while working in design mode. This issue is long existing and no action is taken by Adobe.
It is quite disheartening to know that for the windows users Adobe is giving deaf ear.

Thanks for filing a ticket! This seems like a bug and not a feature request, so you should definitely file this on the Community Support Forum. We should be supporting copy from external sources, and it’s possible that there is something going on with your system that we’ll want to investigate. https://community.adobe.com/t5/adobe-xd/bd-p/xd?page=1&sort=latest_replies&filter=all

After recent version update, XD has become completely unusable specifically for text copying and pasting from external sources such as Word, PPT or browser format. Atleast there are work around as typing manually, but when it comes to special charecters and fonts there is no way around, its is a blocker. And existing issue of text copy/paste within XD authering environment is existing since more then a year, and action has been taken from Adobe. It is quite disheartening to know that Adobe is not considering Windows users and their pain points.
We have been extensively using XD as primary tool for daily deliverables and post this recent update it brings in the above mentioned issues. Therefore the tool is completely unusable for Windows environment.
