Allow component instance overrides to be inherited by all states
Currently (XD 24.0.22.19), if I drop an instance of a component and then adjust part of it (text in a button, size of the instance, etc.), that override is only applied to the selected state of the instance. So, if I have a button with many states (normal, hover, disabled, active, default action, etc.) I have to manually apply that override to each state of the instance. This is extremely tedious and error prone.
Please provide the ability to have an override of an instance be inherited by all states in that component instance.

+1! Having hover-states for buttons is great but designing it now is a massive pain in the ass because of all the fiddling with text and size adjustments.

Please Adobe Xd people, this is insane. We need to inherit the text from Default state to each one of the rest.

Any updates about this issue?

Wanting to move over from Sketch to XD.. but their control over components is not as good as Sketch's Symbols - I want to be able to edit the sizing of the master component and it affect all instances - not have to edit each one separately as overrides!
Anyone know if they will be improving this? -

Can we have news about tha? We are waiting for too long. Add a checkbox "inherit text" or something. But really, right now the component feature is barely usable.

The concept of states is great but this change is necessary to make them useful. Right now they just create too much extra work for the user.

Definitely a big need!....It would save a lot of time.

This one is quite obvious, I can't think of any good reason why the override is happening for all other elements which arent changed. the very reason for using states is to not duplicate everything!

This plus ability to mark text overrides on symbol and change those strings on component at one place, instead of jumping through states of a component to update same string again and again. Gah!!
Please add this quality-of-life-change on priority as this feature affects daily workflow of thousands of folk.
Surprising to see this is still a feature-under-review.

Please, without this feature, the component states are really useless

Damn yes. I'm losing so much time not having this feature. The more I use XD, the more I'm wondering what Adobe's waiting for implementing basic features. (hello drop shadows on element groups, and hi static scroll !).

Real pain. Sketch and Figma are better options.

This is really important.
It takes me a lot of time.
When working with big lists with interactions in each item it turns terrible. -

Yes please... should have shipped with this.
