Show Selected Symbol / Component Name in Properties Panel
When a symbol is selected on the artboard, show (in the properties panel):
- the instance name
- the name of the symbol it's an instance of
I find myself doing A LOT of right clicking and then "Reveal Symbols in Assets" to figure out what symbols I'm actually using.
(Symbol use, management, overrides, and shared libraries are some of the biggest challenges we have in using Adobe XD instead of Sketch.)

When a component instance is selected, the inspector panel should show the master component name so I know exactly what I'm working with.
To get around the limitations of XD I have a *lot* of components. Many of these are nested. Sometimes it's hard for me to tell which version I have selected or even what level of the nested component I'm at.
Currently, the Component inspector section in the right panel tells me what states are available, which is a hint.
I can right click and ask to see the Component in my Assets panel (which doesn't work if I haven't already expanded the Assets panel 🙄).
I can also switch to the layers panel to see what the layer name is.Those are poor solutions to the problem of quickly seeing what component is currently selected. I should be able to see the name right in the component inspector.

I too spend a lot of time figuring out which symbol I'm using.
This is exacerbated by the component bugs that cause them to update unreliably. Given Adobe's failure to address those long-standing issues, I have twice as many components as I need because only brand-new components reliably carry states from the source doc to the targets.

Just to add to this – when you select "Reveal components in assets", it's not very helpful since it doesn't filter the assets to only the selected component(s). Yes, they're highlighted in a blue outline, but if you have hundreds of components, it's not easy to find the component you're looking for.
A simple addition in the inspector panel would make this much, much easier.

A simple tweak to show the name of the component in the property panel.
When you have lots of components some can look visually similar.
Therefore, to be able to check the component without having to right-click and reveal the component in assets would improve the workflow.
