Show overflow text indication
show indicator of hidden text in paragraphs (as in Illustrator)
Please add a way to show if paragraph lines are hidden (same or similar to Illustrator)
We currently already have overflow text indication in area text. If you look at the text object when you’ve selected it, the bottom center control point fills in if you have overflow text.

cool. Still same problem in 2021 :) No wonder everyone just moves to Figma when these little changes take years to fix.

A small filled in blue dot doesn't do much on a blue text box- it's something we miss all the time. Please make this more pronounced, like how it's red and very obvious in Indd/Ai

That indicator is WAY too subtle. Specially in large files. If I increase a global style and it overflows text in certain areas I need to know where it overflowed without having to click on every text field. I just had a client presentation and got dinged for leaving paragraphs of text off. I had no idea!
Honestly, I don't understand why things like this aren't global standard throughout all of your adobe products. These subtle differences between your apps are beginning to add up and become frustrating.
