Export need to remember how I last exported that particular asset that I'm exporting. I'm constantly giving me dev guy the wrong asset type because XD isn't remembering how I last exported that particular asset. Likewise, I have "web" and "ios" screens in one file and XD should remember if I exported a screen as either for web or IOS so I don't keep exporting assets at the wrong density.

I agree with some of the comments about having a separate canvas to edit the symbol. Currently, it is just too tricky to edit a symbol like a universal nav. I find my self double clicking a lot to re-access the symbol and getting confused as to whats apart of the symbol and what isn't.

I've actually been giving up on editing symbols by unlinking the symbol so its not a symbol, editing it, and then making a new symbol, then copying/pasting that back into design. That has actually been easier then editing the symbol, so that's how annoying it currently is.

Similar issue - I want to easily change a square into a triangle. I would assume that clicking the pen tool and by selecting the square's anchor point I could delete it or move it. This doesn't seem to work. Infact, in help "edit object" doesn't seem to any results. If this is possible its not very intuitive to me.
