Allow the design owner to pin comments!
Sure, it is a great that you can send the design to a client and let them add pin comments to the design to point out specific parts ... but why can't the design owner do it?
My design has a number of different elements including dragging, scrolling, hovers, overlays and I need to describe the desired effect to the developer. It is so difficult to write a list of comments trying to refer to a part of my design. "Make the white box slide in from the bottom". What if I have a number of white boxes in my design? It will be 100% less confusing to just add a pin to the specific part I am talking about and the developer knows instantly without any confusion.
Surely, this must be easy to implement as anyone ELSE can comment?

Charlie can you please give the link of the Adblock you are using. Also can you please specify the OS on which you are working. I am using Adblock on Chrome. But pinning is working for me.

Hello,
I found the issue. When AdBlock is in use (on by default in Chrome) the pin icon is missing in the text box. Turning off AdBlock and refreshing the page revealed the pin icon in the text box.
This may be something you want to make your users aware of as it might be a key feature that many people are not aware of as they're using AdBlock.

Hi,
You can open the design spec link that your published and add pinned comments to parts of your design. Are you not able to do so? Even owner of the design who published specs link can add pin in web browser.I also wanted to understand if you are looking for a way to Annotate your design within the XD desktop app itself?
Thanks!
