Advanced Overlay Option (background Treatment)
I would like to have the option of selecting how the background behaves when an overlay is being presented. this is important as I feel currently I'm restricted for the most part to 'Dissolve Transition' as it is weird showing the background sliding when included in the overlay artboard itself
Additionally, combined with timed transitions, one can showcase notifications
.Lastly, the ability to select the option of whether the overlay is pinned on Viewport (current implementation) or Artboard (for dropdowns beyond screen cut-off)
With the auto animate feature, you can now create higher fidelity animations that would cover many of these requests. Also, just in general, it’s best to submit each idea as a separate ticket so that we can better merge them together with other suggestions! Note that for the last one, you should upvote symbol states:

Hi @Elaine,
Yes, now we can manipulate the background using auto-animate. That's true.
But this solution isn't a solution when auto-animate doesn't work on shared links, which are the way that 99% of my clients see and approve my designs. Hoping to have the auto-animate on shared prototypes links working soon. Otherwise, we're still stuck here. -

@sean S
I'm thinking they give us the ability to customize how the background is treated behind an overlay,
whether it is none, transparent, blurred... -

Armando, are you requesting the ability to create something like the typcial iPhone overlay that has an opaque/blurred background AND a transitioning modal? Just wanted to clarify because I would certainly love to have that ability
