Option to publish all screens even without prototyping
If I started prototyping and publish design specs without the prototype linking all the screens the design spec shows only the screens that are linked in the prototype. The specs link doesn't get updated even if I remove all the links.
In today’s release (XD 27), you can now unset the home artboard in Prototype Mode, which will then publish all of your artboards to your link.

Really needed! Now I have to create and maintain two separate XD files as a workaround. Really stupid.

I have artboards within my XD document ordered in a specific way. When publishing to share, the order is changed.
Also, was there an intentional decision to not publish XD artboards that are not connected in prototype?
I see two negative side effects from this:
1. I have to artificially find a way to link artboards just to have them visible when sharing for review.
2. The order in which I list artboards locally in XD is not reflected when using arrow keys to paginate through artboards via the browser. I don't understand what dictates the order.
I propose that all artboards get published in the order they are listed in the XD document.

only see all screens when you connect it to prototype in Design Specs and it wastes my time in projects. Developers just need to jump to single artboard easily to do single page. It made me frustrating without having all screens publishing in design specs immediately,.

YES. XD needs this feature!!!

This would allow you to share all screens in your prorotype. They would be viewable by scrolling with arrows to the left or right.
It will help prevent issues like forgetting to link a screen.

I need a way to share all artboards in design specs as some artboards contain specific developer notes about the design that cannot be conveyed through normal means. Requiring prototype interaction linking to publish design specs renders this feature useless on many levels.

Is it so hard to allow publish all artboards? Current state (publish only linked) is really disappointment.

I second this as an option (rather than by default), as @Armando says: The option to 'Include all artboards in design specs link' would be really helpful, as I often want to include a lot of artboards to developers that shouldn't be in the prototype

Copying artboards from design mode and pasting them removes link wires,
but it moves artboards to new position & creates problems due to stuff i leave on pasteboard -

Beyond just adding all artboards to design specs, it would be nice if I could tag the ones I want to include. Sometimes I have artboards that I don't necessarily want to share.

This is still apparently a major issue and is causing our team to think of switching to Figma.

I have to link things to random artboards to get it online. I understand linking in protoype mode, but in spec mode is just that.. specs.

Please update this. I have to fake link art boards to get them to show up in the spec and it's really dumb.

Come on guys, the lack of this function is a REALLY big pain for us. As someone who works for a software development company and with an understanding of the software development cycle, an issue this small which has such an impact on peoples experience with the application shouldn't take this long to request.
It feels like this sort of feature which impacts peoples workflows as hard as this should come well ahead of pushing out new features like responsive resizing.

How about a toggle to show/hide all prototype interactions without having to click on individual artboards to see where they are mapped to. As well as options to publish design specs of all artboards without interactions.

It will be good to have option when publishing prototype to publish all artboards or artboards with links only.

Could you possibly review this a little faster? Its creating chaos for our team!

Seriously this needs to be reverted immediately. I can't work with my developer with these mockups effectively because of this. We have our first meeting tomorrow and now I can't show things correctly. This was working as needed just like a week ago and now is completely not usable in its current state.

This is the single most irritating "feature" that has been implemented. It worked correctly before and now makes no sense. Prototypes and Specs have completely different purposes.
