Generate an unique link to allow people to switch between prototype or specifications depending of their needs.
Today we have to manage 2 links it is confusing because they don't propose the same version of the document.

Why have two buttons if there can be just one?

I always forget to update the Development version since I'm always in a hurry and the Review one takes close to a minute to update since I have lots of artboards.

+1 for me. I'm having to manage 2 different links (1 for iOS and 1 for Android) every time I update a file. The Review links can remain the same which is great for my devs but I'm not able to keep the same dev specs link. I would need to output 2 different ones everytime. Thanks.

YES. Also would be amazing if the comments would be shared across design spec and prototype for the same document - I often make notes on how a feature should function in the prototype or design spec and I have to remind devs to check them both to make sure they got all the comments, it's annoying that we have two links for what devs need and the comments can't be shared across them both.

YES! please combine these into a single published package. Also please consider the versioning aspect as more organizations more into iterative design and development, the ability to make changes and update (exists) but still able to view previous version without getting into the business of link management.

Can you share what your use case is to allow people to download the source file from a prototype link?

As a user, I want to share one link to users, shareholders and developers so that I don't constantly have to keep sharing to two different sources.

Having to constantly push out to "Share for Review" and "Share for Developers" is a constant drag. Makes it difficult for project managers to review it and then also keep track of a separate link for developers. Please reference the UX of Invision and how they make it very easy to toggle between prototype (review) and developer (Inspect) mode.

+Bonus - Add option to download source file from the shared link would be amazing as well.

A variation would have 3 tabs: 1) A free text document with links to elements of the prototype and/or design spec 2) The prototype and 3) The design specs. This package would be a complete documentation for the process.

It would be awesome to be able to publish design specs and prototypes at the same time, and preferrably from the same place. There would be times when both wouldn't need to be posted, so it would need to be an option.

I never need to change the settings after the first time I set it up (actually, I can't remember a time when I have had to even on the first time), and it is somewhat annoying to just have to sit there for 15 seconds while the prototype uploads and then have to click out and back into the dropdown to publish the specs and wait again. The same could be said for having to click into two places to grab two separate links.

Very handy. Just like InVision does it. Tabs for both prototyping and design specs.

Instructing reviewers how to navigate to each of the objects generated by XD is error prone. Permitting the linking of the same version of a prototype to one another is the the natural solution.
