Create or update preview links in case you 're not the owner of the document, to avoid multiple docs and preview links on the cloud.
At least a feature of share permissions would be wise.

Hi there, I see people have been complaining for over 2 years now and after spending a significant amount of money with an agency, we have now discovered the shareable links can only be created by one person?!?!?! When will this be updated? What does the timeline look like?

@Elaine (Adobe): Your announcement is now 6 months past. The issue is seriously impacting our work. Is there any news?
If you could enable a simple solution soon, it would help us more than having to wait for the CC Spaces to come. Every day counts.

I think this feature would be extremely helpful. I work on a team of 3, and only the owner of an XD cloud file is able to update the share link, despite us having equal ability to change the document. It would be really useful to have the ability to allow other collaborators to update the share link. Currently, we have to save a file as a local document, then save it as a cloud document, and then create a new link - which causes endless issues with file consistency and versioning.

Small things like this make it hard to work as a team. It doesn’t make sense that this wasn’t made a standard team feature/toggle. You are going to continue to lose to competing platforms (i.e. Figma) until things like this are added.

So... where is this feature? It's ridiculous that each team member needs to save the file (AGAIN) then share links. This needs to be done.... Figma is so much better when it comes to these things, I would think Adobe cared that teams need to have more control over company files.

Impossible to be a dynamic team if I delegate the ownership to my teammate, then I can't publish anything until they're back (unless I recopy the file into my CC or we work locally....not allowing co-editing.. and regenerate a new link again). Any serious ETA on this feature and not just radio silence?

We are working in multiple timezones and multiple contributors, having to save as and edit the file is version control headache. Please rollout the feature sooner rather than later.

We've started to use figma, but seems a waste to duplicate costs.

This feature was announced in Oct 21, after 6 months this basic feature is still missing. Every time I need to open a file to update links after my team updates an Artboard... this is crazy, see you on Figma.

Yes, this was announced in Oct of last year. This should be available by now. We're moving to Figma as well because of this long-time oversight of something so basic. Version control is horrible in my agency because you can't share links from a board you didn't create.

Ideally, we have a company folder in which I can set users to have rights across ALL files in the folder.
This is a MASSIVE issue for us. I'm trying to move the team away from Figma. but the file management in XD is far too basic.
For example, we had an issue the other day when I needed to share new edits with the client. But had to contact my staff member after hours to update the shared link because I don't have access.. ridiculous.

We really need this feature. When is this going to be released?

If multiple users can edit and update a design - multiple users need to be able to inform clients/stakeholders of change
