Share prototype with customers so that they can view on their mobile devices
First of all: I LOVE XD! Thanks for this great software!
My issue is, that sharing the prototype on the web is nice, but our customers request to see the prototype on their mobile devices - but not with the online link, because they can't see the complete screen without scrolling and that looks not like an app more than a webpage.
Now the only possibility is to download the xd app, login or register and connect the mobile device with the computer, where the file is open. How can our customer see and test the prototype in the same way?
It would be great to have a customer friendly and easier solution for our customers to view the prototype on their mobile devices without downloading the xd app, registration and connection to pc.
Hi All,
With the new release of XD, we have made few improvements in the viewing and navigation elements on mobile browsers. Now, you can scroll up to dismiss the browser chromes on mobile browsers. You can also pinch to minimize the artboard and access the navigation controls.
Please try out the enhancements and share your feedback with us.
Best Regards

This feature is not completed.
The browser chrome does not fully dismiss when scrolling on iOS Safari.
Even with the minimized browser chrome, it's not proper full-screen.InVision makes this very easy. Ask your client to download the InVision viewer app. Send your client the prototype link. It opens automatically in the viewer app.
I understand Apple doesn't want to make this easy and allow websites to go full-screen, but that's not acceptable. I need my clients to be able to view their designs on a mobile device.

Yes, I'm in total agreement. I'm a student, new to using XD and love it.
But this is a major deal breaker.
How can clients or customers or even professors view a mobile app prototype?
I've got XD on my mobile and I can't even get it to work.Doesn't make sense to use software to produce prototype, if you can't
share the prototypes with the people you produce them for...?Laura

I have to agree with the comments below. I do not see much, if any, improvement in the mobile experience for users (Android; Chrome Browser). When I am performing user testing, or sharing with stakeholders, the experience I am looking to provide is a view that fills the entire mobile screen to best emulate a real mobile experience (obviously within the confines of the artboard size). The AdobeXD app does this well. I believe the original request was for a similar experience to what the app provides, but for non-account holders and/or AXD app users.
I would not consider this app to be "Feature-Completed."

Im not sure that Feature Completed tag applied to this request is what people where voting for.
opening the link in the mobile browser doesn't feel like an app experience - nearly all the menu items are not visible in designs because the navigation is either at the top or bottom of the page and the mobile web browser header and footer cover this -

Scrolling up does not dismiss the browser chromes for me, neither in Safari in iOS 12.1, or Chrome in Android Pie. Do you mean scrolling up in a specific place or way?
Thanks! -

Should not be via browser. Protopie is the best solution. Qr play thats it.

XD player is not enough. Always gives Fonts missing errors. In what way can we show the designs we created? Mobile device preview selection with an embed font selection or convert all text as vectors radio button should be done. Otherwise all designs without fonts.

We give Adobe Login to them for showing design live. But fonts missing error that time. So we can not show them the real thing on mobile.

Please deliver this feature ASAP. As far as I am concerned, it is the biggest omission from Xd. My stakeholders want to be able to see and interect with my prototypes using the Xd app, NOT the browser.

Protopie System is the best solution.Qr code and go. But the fonts should be embedded inside app. Missing font error is a problem for xd player

Yes, this could be a solution.

Your suggestion is a Workaround.
It's much more impressive to show a prototipe on a real device than on a wall or a TV screen

Can we export Adobe Xd file into Invision?

I'd like to give a link to my collegue (or a QR code) in order to let them view a prototipe on their App
At the moment I've to give them my credentials to view a prototipe on mobile

Things really take ages to progress for this software -

Just learning XD and realized it's not possible to share a true mobile prototype experience with a client. At the very least they should be able to open a prototype link in the XD app that allows a full screen experience.
This is a gross oversight and will make it very difficult to pitch to clients.
