Awesome!! I've always loved designing with XD and now, with the new enhancements to layers and symbols, Windows XD is something we can actually use in the workplace.

I use both mac and PC, and discovered I can't reorder (move up & down) the layers with my PC version of Xd. I use a mouse with my PC.

In my mac laptop, I can just drag up and down the layers with my touchpad.

Is this a bug or am I missing out any shortcuts?

When I select a layer in the layers list on the left and attempt to reorder it by selecting and dragging up or down, it does not work. I've seen this work on Mac, but for some reason it doesn't seem to work on the Windows version.

I got quick work around. Ctrl+x the layer or group and paste.. It will place layer on top ;)

Good start, but how come we cannot drag the layers into groups like mac users can?

Why is layer dragging not an option? I want to reorder layers like in photoshop by dragging them up or down. Not by the arrange option.

For example, sometimes when I load in a new picture, it goes into a group. At that point, I can’t drag it out that group.

Basically, my feature request is: Could Xd get the same layer ordering as photoshop?

We ran into a few problems with drag and drop so it didn't make this drop, but still wanted to get Layers Panel into your hands. Drag and drop should be in the next build!

Love having layers for Windows! Much needed to mimic/update my workflow coming from Photoshop. One thing missing out the gate though: having the ability to reorder the layers by dragging them up and down the panel. Still need to use Ctrl+[ or Ctrl+] to get them up or down the stack. A must have feature to use layers effectively and efficiently.

I would love to have the abillity to use layers in the windows version. I have tested this feature on a mac and it's just perfect. I hope it will be there soon
