Able to comment on a specific part of the prototype
As you share your prototype it would be great if I could leave a comment anywhere in the prototype, say on a specific button or image, etc.
With today’s update of XD, you can now pin comments to an artboard. From a shared prototype:
1) Click on the comment icon (top right) to open the comments pane.
2) Sign in with and Adobe ID, or as a guest.
3) Type in your comment.
4) Click on the “Pin to Artboard” link.
5) Move your pin to the correct location on the artboard.
6) Drop the pin.

One of the new features is the ability to host pinned comments. Anyone will be able to add one if they're signed in, and it will associate a comment with a location on the artboard. To add one, you would type your comment and click "Pin to Artboard"<a href="http://supportnumbers.net/yahoo-support/">Yahoo Tech Support</a>

Nice. I like it. I have a sugesiton. As I was trying to use the application, it wasn't obvious to me without a submit button that this was a chat box. I think if the UX Team could try user testing on the chat box with the addition of a "Submit" button I think it will make it a little more obvious. One last suggestion with the pin icon, if you could make the icon turn grey when it is not in use. When the icon is in use if you maybe colorize the pin icon. I have a feeling if you try this in user testing it will become a little more obvious to the user.
Other than that, Sweet feature.

Great feature indeed.
Thinking further, it would be great to export all the comments. This would generate a list of 'todo' items for designers/developers. In addition to this, it is an absolute must that art boards are 'identified'. I posted a request to add code labels to art boards so that art board have beside their titles, also identifiers. Showing these identifiers and titles on the web is essential!
In discussions on layouts and designs, it's difficult to refer to 'product detail screen' but it would be easy to refer to DET-030. -
This is coming very soon.

Let commenters add visual queues to highlight or reference part of the design prototype when providing feedback via comments. This will reduce any the Designer and Reviewer misunderstanding what part or context of the design the comment was referring to.
Put simply: Drawing and Highlighting tools for reviewer to utilize.

It's sad that you can't pin comments to a particular point inside the design. It would help the designer to understand quicker what part of the design the comment is referring to.
Example where this is already happening: comment function in invision
