This should not be a feature, it is a basic option...

Respectfully disagree with Saro's comment here because there's not enough flexibility with repeat grid. For example if I have a bullet point sentence that goes to 2 lines but the rest are on one line, the vertical spacing can't be even in between each bullet point. See my example where I'm using a repeat grid. You can see that the spacing is uneven between each bulleted list item.
Really need bulleted lists!

This seems like a massive oversight. Lists are so commonly used. Please implement this soon!

I am going to be the devils advocate here and say that this feature is not necessary as good UX designer will define custom bullet lists with repeat grid, this gives more direct control regarding spacing. Instead of clogging the XD interface with unnecessary list style settings.

Please add this function to XD. It's ridiculous...Now I could only copy and paste the bullet symbol from internet...Thanks~!

Hey ADOBE.
Add ordered and numbered lists as well as tabbed indents to XD please?
This is really basic stuff. It's shocking that it wasn't included in the original release.

You can type the option + 8 keyboard command to get a bullet point. Obviously having more text editing options would be nice but you could use this as a workaround for now.

Please add bullet points — this starts to be ridiculous. This request was started in 2016— it's 2020 now.
Is there an explanation at least?

I work on many projects in a highly regulated industry (pharma) and every detail must be designed and presented just the way it will show to the end user. For example the important safety information that accompanies all pharma brand websites must be laid out exactly to the company and FDA standards. Right now, XD doesn't offer enough type control to format large paragraphs of text with multiple indents and bullet styles. Therefore my work-around has been to do it in another application and then export an image placeholder. But, I wish there was a better way and to have text controls similar the other Adobe products would be awesome to keep every artboard as natural text.
XD has changed my workflow and I enjoy using it for layout because of it's ease-of-use and time-saving shortcuts that make redundant actions very easy to complete.
Attached is a simple example of safety text on a mobile website layout. The actual text is about 5 times longer than the image so there is a real need to have paragraph text control. Since the safety information must be shown with every page in layout, the ability to make this a component, would greatly speed up the changes.
Happy to explain further or provide more detail if needed. -

I think adobe wants us to switch to photoshop to do all this just so that photoshop can remain relevant

Still waiting, Adobe. This issue was posted literally 4 years ago. By implementing this, you'll have consistency with all of your other products. XD is an important introduction for many of us into Creative Cloud's suite of products, and giving essentials like this will help retain us. Bullets and lists are critical to web development
