An error occurred while saving the comment Sarah commentedit's super frustrating that pasted layers automatically get put on top of ALLLL my other layers. I waste SO much time. I'm only using XD because my client's designers use it. Otherwise I go back to Figma whenever I can.

An error occurred while saving the comment Sarah commentedWhen an object or group is selected in the layers panel, but positioned underneath lots of objects, you should be able to hold a key (such as Cmd or Control) so that you can drag it around without XD selecting a higher layer that is above it. Sketch allows you to hold a key so that the selected item stays selected.
Yes you can use the arrow keys to nudge something and nudge it all the way to an empty space on your artboard, but that can take forever if you want to move your object way down the page. This is really slowing down my workflow. In the link below, you'll see this in action.

The team recognizes that there’s a gap here, so I’m leaving this open. And yes, I was referring to the “Esc” key on your keyboard. Hope that helps!
An error occurred while saving the comment Sarah commentedThanks I would appreciate that! When you say I can "Escape" do you mean use the esc button?
An error occurred while saving the comment Sarah commentedThanks Elaine! Is there a certain key to hold to select the group I'm hovering over? Here's a video but I think Loom is having issues and I'm not sure if the audio worked. If it didn't, I can try again with ScreenFlick. https://www.loom.com/share/3931077d4ecd48eaac2635544380105a

Sorry for the false alarm! Someone pointed out to me that I interpreted the request incorrectly. While you can now select objects both in the artboard and on the pasteboard, you cannot yet select objects on the pasteboard and complete artboards themselves.
Sarah supported this idea ·An error occurred while saving the comment Sarah commentedPlease add the ability to be able to drag and select items that aren't on an artboard along with artboards.
For example, if I have a whole website design all in one document, sometimes I will add text labels above groups of artboards, that aren't connected to any artboard. Then if I need to zoom out and move a bunch of artboards around all at once, my labels don't get selected when I drag select the group. So I have to individually move those items which is a pain and takes a lot of time.

An error occurred while saving the comment Sarah commentedRespectfully disagree with Saro's comment here because there's not enough flexibility with repeat grid. For example if I have a bullet point sentence that goes to 2 lines but the rest are on one line, the vertical spacing can't be even in between each bullet point. See my example where I'm using a repeat grid. You can see that the spacing is uneven between each bulleted list item.
Really need bulleted lists!

An error occurred while saving the comment Sarah commentedsomeone else already said exactly what I was thinking so I'll quote it again "I don't like the current implementation of guides, because you may be zoomed in on a specific portion of the artboard and in order to drag a guide you have to zoom out or move to the top left edge of the board to start dragging. The source of the guides should be more global... like the rulers that have worked for years in all other adobe programs."

An error occurred while saving the comment Sarah commentedyesssss please!!
Admins - as Anonymous stated, when I've selected a layer in the layers panel and then click one of the tools, such as Text tool, shape tool, etc and create a new text or shape later, the newly created layer jumps up to the top of the highest group instead of being placed right above the layer that I had had selected.
