Spell Check
Spell check please! Much needed for someone who sometimes glances over simple spelling errors
You can now use spell check in the September release of XD! If you can’t see the update, select … from the Creative Cloud desktop application and select “Check for App Updates.” If you have additional suggestions for this feature, please file a separate request!

This doesn't work on Macs at all under version 49. I have Spelling and Grammar checked, but it's not finding any of my typos.
Also, let's be honest. This isn't a real spell check like anyone would expect. Adobe's other programs (Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign at a minimum) have much better spell-checking capabilities.
Grammarly can't pick up XD either, so even that isn't useful.
Please do better by all of your users.

this isn't fixed yet..sure, if you click on every box with text, you'll see the words marked with red underlines.
Need to be able to run a spellcheck, over an entire document and have it flag/correct errors. Similar to speelchecks on InDesign, Word a million other programs.
Please, fix this for real.

I am often typo in making sentences or words. I think this is a common problem that many designers experience. If adobe XD has a special feature to correct all the text on the XD artboard/artwork, this will really help millions of adobe XD users!

Spell check doesn't work properly still in XD, even when the spelling & grammar is checked in the menu it doesn't pick up any spelling errors.

Bugs with the spell check:
1. Extremely slow on Windows 10.
2. When you select the text area (text has blue background), you see which words are spelled incorrectly, but then while the text is selected, if you right or left-click on the incorrect word, nothing happens. You have to first un-select all the text, then right-click the now-highlighted word, then fix the highlighted word.
3. The dictionary is weak: I spelled 'dog' as 'duog' or 'doag' and in both cases 'dog' was not an option from the list.

I wish this worked like Photoshop, where you could run spell check on your entire document, not just the selected text box.

Hi
Thanks for posting the issue
Make sure you check the following Settings in your Windows 10 machine
1.Go to settings tab and choose Typing and then enable features in Spelling ,Typing ,Touch keyboard and hardware keyboard according to your preference (gif attached for reference)
2.Go to XD -Hamburger menu-Make sure to Turn Spellchecker on
After enabling these features you will be able to view auto suggestions while typing , auto correct your text ,able to see a red underline while typing incorrect spellings- depending on the features you have enabled in the settings menu of your windows 10
Thank you

Is this only available for XD on a mac?

This isn't a spell check. It only works if you are typing and doesn't actually go back to review content like Indesign or Illustrator. This is what Sketch does and it is infuriating. Please add the spellcheck functionality that we all expect.

Please please please! Designers are notoriously poor spellers.
