Export size options (e.g. export only 2x version)
The ability to select my sizes for export would be nice. At times I work on apps (as strange as it may sound) that do not require all resolutions of artwork (1x, 2x, 3x) An option to select my would be great. Similar to how Sketch handles it.
Hi,
I’m happy to let you know that once with XD 45 release you can export JPGs and PNGs to any size between 0.1x and 10x (Choose from the dropdown or enter your custom values by hand).
Please let us know if any feedback. Happy exporting!

Yes please!!!!

Absolutely! We have a mandate to render full size images at 1.5x, which we find is a good compromise for hidpi stuff... but alas, no functionality in XD :(

Absolutely essential feature that should not be ignored!

Same - I spend a lot of time deleting 1x screens. This seems like low hanging fruit.

+1,000. This would solve my problem with making assets for UWP:

Exactly I have same Issue, When Designing for Android I chose MDPI and then export Assets for android as in 1x, 2x, 3x and 4x. But recently most off the new devices are coming with different device density. Even google pixel is 2.6 which fall under 2x and 3x. so design assets for 3x and let system scale it down to 2.6x. Sometime it doesn't give the desired result. We have plugins for custom export but would be a nice touch if included in main software itself.

I would like the ability to export entire screens at a custom size for use in promotional designs and print settings. When choosing "export for design" it exports it at an unusable quality with no option to export at a higher resolution. When everything is being designed with vector elements it makes no sense that I can't export at a higher resolution. The only workaround I have found is to export for android and only take the highest resolution, but this is a hassle and still somewhat limiting.

Yeah +1 from me, I hate having to delete the 1x exports and rename the 2x exports!

This seems like something very easy to implement. Simply allow us to select the size of the export.

Is this feature still under review or has the status since been updated from 2016?

Can we please have more control on PDF export like :-
1. Name Single PDF other than whatever the XD file name is
2. Flatten PDF page on export to reduce file size when sharing
3. Select scale to export at such as 2x and/or 3x (when flattened) -

Hi, just wondering if it could be possible to implement an option for us to select an specific resolution to export an artboard.
As a designers, sometimes we need to showcase our work, or implement our screen designs on a PSD mockup, hence we need a very high resolution for this.
I noticed that Illustrator besides the 1X,2X,3X options there is an option called resolution, where I can set from 72 to 300.
Could this be a feature request?
Thanks and regards

When I choose the web export @x2, I don't need the file @x1. If I need it, I choose the x1. It's a waste of time to delete the x1 files and rename the x2.

I'd like to see more flexibility on this feature. 1x doesn't export crisp enough and 2x is too big and has longer loading time.
Maybe a type field could fix this, for example, export at 1.25x.

Any news on this feature? I would love to see a bit more flexibility when exporting assets. I'm not sure if I'm the only one with this problem but when using XD with InVision Sync, there's some issues with exporting 1x and 2x versions of screens at the same time. The sync doesn't quite know which file to use so it can overwrite some screens incorrectly and mess up your hotspots. There are also other instances where it would be handy to only export, say a 2x version of a screen.

I only want to export @2x's instead of both 1x AND 2x. I end up having a lot more files than I need, and I have to go back and delete all the 1x images.

It strange that I have to export 1x and 2x even when I only want to export 2x. I would really like to see this change.
