All functions of Adobe Fireworks
Can you import all the features that were available in Adobe Fireworks. That was a great product I know a number of people still use.
We’d like individual suggestions to be fine-grained so others can upvote the specific features they’re interested in, and we can get a better picture of which are most important.
Some of the ideas mentioned here have already been suggested separately. Please upvote these if they’re relevant to you:

- Bitmap (raster) image adjustments: https://adobexd.uservoice.com/forums/353007/suggestions/13815294-bitmap-editing-image-filters
- 9-slice image scaling: https://adobexd.uservoice.com/forums/353007/suggestions/12948630-9-slice-scaling
Please feel free to file individual UserVoice suggestions with specifics for any other ideas that we may have missed. Thanks for your feedback!

Same here. We ara early users of Fireworks and our leading activity in UX/UI have a great help from Fireworks. It's packed with all features that allow us to use layout building, time based animations, bitmap editing, and mockup presentations in one single place.
It would be great if you Adobe teams of XD could bring the Fireworks features into XD so to get a great product.
The topic in this discussion could seem generic but if we look at what Fireworks can do it has to be so generic because there are a lot of features that can be implemented and not a single one.
So we vote for that! -

Same here.. old school fireworks user who still uses it. Would love more bitmap tools. To the other guys. Fireworks had its issues. Although I agree that being built on JavaScript in today JavaScript world it would make sense to re-use allot of it. But fireworks has huge issues with text rendering (after they were forced to alter the text renderer). Fireworks also has the 2GB memory elephant in the room crash issue. Else.. it still rocks. But this does look really good and pretty exciting. Anyway, add all the features from fireworks else we will be forced to use sketch. :).

You own the Fireworks IP. Instead of reinventing the wheel, just modernize Fireworks.

Agreed. I'm not planning on running an XD + Photoshop combo just to be able to do what Fireworks can do on its own. Still using Fireworks daily, by the way and I'm never switching to Photoshop, but I would switch to XD if it integrates Fireworks' main features (including bitmap editing).

Would really love to have some Fireworks workflow and tools in XD. I love XD so far but still lacks some features for my day to day use.
One feature I loved of Fireworks are "Automatic Vector Mask", they were outstandingly quick to use!

Adobe XD needs to incorporate the tools and workflow from Fireworks. Notably Bitmap editing capabilities and Layers.

Unfortunately, this situation we are in is the result of thousands of UX designers who went out of their way to never use Fireworks, and it getting abandoned. Sad state of affairs.
Oh well, another app I get to learn!
