Choose reference / anchor point for transform origin and X, Y display
Being able to change the reference point from the upper-left to center or lower right or whathaveyou is so useful in other Adobe apps. Having to do everything with top-left x/y is a pain when trying to position objects by their center.
Choose point by clicking 9-grid icon

Being able to change the way objects/components/are scaled.
This would be especially useful within the component element.

Just have the same tool as After Effects : Pan Behind (Anchor Point) Tool so you can change the anchor point of an object.
With this tool we can make more things with components. Make an object taller by stuck it on an anchor, Rotate objects differently etc... It's really essential now on XD I think.

It's good have a customisable registration or anchor point .
(When we rotate any object it automatically take center point for rotation instead if there is a point where we can set center and rotate, that might help in few places)

This is a MUST since I design mathematically, I want to choose from which side/area my objects will change (expand, shrink, etc) from. Its SO ANNOYING having to manually move every object after changing it

This is essential! Especially with the new State for Component feature NOV 2019
. I would like to have control - if The button changes the state in size - it expands from centre (or as I want to it to expand..) -

This would be great for the new component states. Would allow for more complex hover interactions.

This is particularly frustrating when building components that will be scaled. Center alignment of nested components could save me hours of work (not exaggerating).

From my vantage point this is a mission critical feature!

Now exporting assets is available, it would be killer to be able to set the pivot point with each asset so we can use this information directly in our app.

I would like this to be available for artboards as well. Frequently top left is not the desire transform (for example adding or removing a header is painful for a long artboard, where all contents must be shifted upward, especially in a project with many artboards. Even dragging from the top of the artboard does not alter this behavior.

Yes, again I have to bring up, why didn't Adobe leverage their complete and total knowledge or palettes/tools from Illustrator or Photoshop or InDesign, which are amazing—and again I have to sound like a jerk because I can't help myself in writing about how bad of a start this is a to a product that Adobe should be amazing at building when you look at the rest of the products in their portfolio. Very sad indeed for me.

The problem is, that some distances aren't visible.
In Design Specs we would like to have a measuring tool, where we can measure the spaces between 2 elements manually.
Would it be possible to insert any kind of ruler, to find out the distances (in px).In attachement you find an example of the related question.

Measurement Guide boxes should appear between adjacent objects. I'm tired of moving an object and having measurements spaces light up in areas no where near the object I'm moving
